Hey not a big poster on these forums as I drive a MkIV supra but would like to find out who's from Newcastle and Hunter Valley areas and if people would be interested in cruising and meeting up with us. We have around 13 - 17 supras and would like to throw a few soarers in with it. Can't have my girl being the only soarer with us can i? ;)
Let me know and maybe we can compile a bit of a list.  |

I'm all booked out for the first half of June, but I'd be up for something.
Me and a mate (Aristo) were thinking of having a BBQ out here in Singleton or something one day.
There is a couple of Soarers out this way, with at least another forum member in town. |

Singo is a big cop trap. My old man got done up there. I'm not game to drive my supra thru there. Would you boys be interested in driving up to the bay? We just need to find a suitable place to host 20+ cars |

I was never hassled in my full house Rx-7. I have been pulled over for RBT in the Soarer and asked about the car. I offered to show the Copper under the bonnet(he was angling towards the BOV question). He had a look at my polished pipework, painted stock BOV and told me it was a nice job.
I treated him with some respect( he has afterall volunteered to serve his community/state/country) and he returned it. I have never had a problem with the local boys even after being caught doing something quite silly. I paid the fine, did the time and we all play nice together.
If you are concerned about the Highway patrol that used to be based here, it is now in a nice shiny new HQ in Muswelbrook.
But, all that aside I'd be up for a day anywhere within a reasonable distance. At $1.70ish per litre for Premium I just can' justify driving 200km for a cruise. |

Fair enough. I just noticed that every day when I was driving home from Lidell power station that the cops were set up in the park as you enter singo northbound and where pulling over all p platers and any cars looking to be modified. they were pulling cars apart on the side of the road. I really hope they've stopped now.
When we get a better idea of number's we'll find a meeting spot that will be central to all people involved. Are there other people from these areas that are interested in meeting up. Would really like to see some more soarers as they are a hot car ;) |

Ben they got it in for my old VK commodore and I end up selling it. They didnt catch me speeding but I got dobbed in by a few people then they would leave the old girl alone. Gave it to the wife to drive then they started pulling her over all the time thinking it was me. Learnt to behave now  |

Apart from me and Bon Bon, there is another green and a white soarer in town. I see them from time to time and give them a wave. They don't wave back though. Singleton is a mining town so it does not have a sense of community, or a soul for that matter. Only the dollar counts around here!
There was a red supra(JZA80) out here. He worked at KFC/Repco, but I haven't seen him in ages.
There is a JZS147 Aristo TT my mate owns as well.
Thats about it for interesting Toyotas I can think of out this way. |

i might be up for a cruise, depends on where and when, my mate has a supra he'd probably be keen too, i haven't met anyone else with a soarer yet. |

We need to find somewhere that everyone is happy to meet at...and also, somewhere big enough to accommodate parking for a fair few Soarers and Supras...and assuming we'll meet on a weekend, that could be difficult..! |

Okay well lets try and organise something for the end of this month? Should give all involved plenty of time to organise around it. Prospective dates could be 21 - 22 or 28 - 29. I gonna go back to the supra forums and see what they say there and you guys let me know what you think about one of these dates. Maybe I should tally up the dates with the most scores and we'll go with that one?
Location: Okay well we have people coming from all regions of the hunter valley inc singo, the bay, maitland area, newcastle and central coast. It would propbably be a good idea to find a location that is pretty central to all of these areas. Any ideas? |

Hey everyone...there is a dyno day on at Turbo Technics in Cardiff on Saturday.
There is usually a sausage sizzle lunch etc...I'm not sure if we're going (dragonms & I) as he might need to work and the Supra is off road...but for everyone else, it might be a good place to meet... |
