I'm not sure Powercruise would have had much to do with it. Everything was down. Trade stands, general presentation, amount of true show cars...sad really cause normally you get to see some good gear.

From what I've been told Autosalon have put a stop to stands allowing sponsor stickers, slogans etc ?? kind of stupid really. If they stick by this I think PAS will be finished within the next few years. I know a lot of car clubs rely on funds from sponsors to set up their displays for these things and if they cant do it any more then people aren't going to bother forking out of their own pocket to do this. Sounds like the organisers wanna hog all the funds and profits for themselves.

painted head lights ? sorry buddy but that wasn't paint. my new headlights had not arrived yet so i stickered them instead of having these crap looking lights on show . The big let down was there was only one soarer there but you get that

yea not a very good pas this year i think one of the best looking cars there was the old school supra next to the new supras that interior was insane and paintwork was amazing and the other car that caught my eye was the 2jz 180sx and speaking of 1801sx did anyone know that guy who crashed his 180 killed him as his gf

I dont mean to mock anyone who takes pride in spending money on their car etc etc, but the showing at the auto salon events is getting so laughable.
I guess there just isn't the same sort of money behind these events and entrants in Perth as there are elsewhere around the world, however none of the cars from this year's even really inspire me..
I guess a good point is that those who do spend enough money to do something with a proper "wow" factor rarely show their car and usually only do so for magazine features.

thanks josh it has come up a bit but along way to go which is gonna be hard now cause just bought a house and my wife and i are expecting are first baby which should pop out very late or early this/next year. But the car will be finished one day
