Think it's about time that I came out and met some fellow Perth soarer owners, so as long as I'm not working, I shall be there!
Don't think I'll chuck her on the dyno though... I don't want to be embarrassed seeing how many more horses my little 300 rwhp sil has compared to my stock soarer!
Will be good to see what other people have done with their cars though, need to get some inspiration/ideas for mine!

All you pansies worried about being embarrassed or whatever, stop it!
Put your damn car on the dyno.
Noone is going to give you crap because you dont make 1000000000000000000rwhp.
Hell i remember the first event i ever went to after buying my car was a dyno day. Back when there were tonnes of active people and we had frequent bbq's. Anyway, i never intended on giving my car a run but was pressured in to it. LO AND BEHOLD my new car ended up winning an award.
...granted someone kicked the damn trophy before it was presented so i ended up with shards of glass, but i guess that doesnt matter =P
I'm sure there will be plenty of stock cars which go for a run, many will not even make 200rwhp let alone creep up to the 300's.
Its NOT about who has the biggest epeen at a dyno day. Its about being able to sit back and watch someone else thrash your car and not get very far for once.
You then end up with a pretty piece of paper you can take away and impress friends and family who dont know what the it all means.
So stop being window lickers and get involved!
RAAARRGH! RAGGEEEEEEE! RRRRRUUUUAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
On a related note i might have to come along and see what my car can push in the colder months of the year! =P

I'm thinking of going and getting a stock figure for my vvti. As long as no excel's put me to shame. How long do these things go for? From when to when?

A Note
If your car has a problem lurking under the hood it might SHOW up before it becomes a very expensive one and there will be heaps of knowlegable advice on hand as well But its too far for me (about 5000km)
