Ok mate, well I'm in Bicton and I use Xspeed in o'connor as my mechanics, so the last time I had mine regassed I had it done there. There's probably a specialist auto aircon place in myaree or o'connor that could do it for you too.
Might pay to make a few calls and check out the prices and what sort of gas you want to put in (depending on how cold you want it and how much you want to pay).

Go to VEHICOOL - in Canning Vale. Speak to Cameron, he did both my old soarers and knows them well. Should cost $110 with new gas. Usually cheaper with cash

You dont need a leak for crap to accumulate though. Over time the compressors will slowly wear out which causes metal particles from the ball bearings to enter the system.
Ive had several major issues with my aircon over the years and know from experience it can be a real head and wallet ache to be cheap when maintaining your 17 year old aircon.
