Hmmm, if we are going for late november, I MAY be ready to rock by then! I won't have any engine management by then, but it should still run ok on the stock ecu. Fingers crossed  |

How about November 30th. It's a Sunday, or if people prefer the Saturday, 29th? Weather should be nice, pack a picnic lunch? Maybe head somewhere in the Riverland that's not too far away. |

Keen as for a cruise in Nov, doesn't bother me Saturday or Sunday, doesn't bother me where either, just got this car and want to take it for a good and proper drive. Cheers Chris for the heads up. |

So did I. But I've been offered a Pajero for a really good price and the fiance and I have been wanting to get into a 4WD for a while. She has a Mazda 3 which is only about 4 years old, the Pajero is 2002. The sensible choice is to sell the Soarer. Unfortunately.
The Pajero is not a done deal yet, so nothing is written in stone at this point. |

Or maybe not a drive at all? Everyone is always complaining that we never do anything as a club, and then also complain that what ever gets suggested isn't a cruise!
For the most part, most of us get to drive our cars every day, no need to do it all in a line. What's wrong with just meeting somewhere to have dinner and a catch up? |

I agree, a "club night" sounds like a great idea. From what I read of the WA section, they meet up and do this sort of thing on almost a monthly basis. Shoot some pool, shoot some $hit, all park next to each other in the car park, a few beers. A TOP IDEA in my book. How about the Ballroom on the Parade? Nice big car park in the Norwood Mall Shopping Centre next door and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat should the whim take us. Thoughts? |

To be honest I'm kinda sick of fix it days, which is most of the reason I'm not turning up much any more other than cruises.
Perhaps we could start to do this more often? |

Here would be a good place to start. Besides, if I sell my car I can still turn up and not feel ashamed that I'm driving a Pajero.... I'll just park somewhere else.
So shall we lock in a date? Sometime in November would be great as I'm getting married in 3 weeks and then having 2 weeks in Thailand. So mid late november works well for me. |

And that's the beauty of a catch up like this...
If someone can't make it, then there will be another one in a few weeks time! That way we can plan things a bit closer to the date, as opposed to 9 weeks out. |
