Hello my fellow Soarer friends,
As usual, im keen to go for a nice drive in our lovely state and ive decided to head out to check out the dam levels at Wivenhoe Dam.
So my plan is to leave from good ol "Downey Park" (same place we have met before) in Wilston.
Progress through Samford, Woodford, Kilcoy, Past Somerset Dam and then onto Wivenhoe where ill cook up some snags.
Home run will be via the freeway.
WHAT ? Soarer Cruise to Wivenhoe Dam for a BBQ
WHEN ?
- SATURDAY DECEMBER 13th 2008
- Meet @ Downey Park @ 0845
- Depart Downey Park @ 0915
- Arrive at Wivenhoe... ?? maybe 1030
- Depart whenever you wish.
We've all done these before so its the same ol thing but if you have any questions fire away.

no worries Trent, yeh would be a considerable run for you gold coast lads .... but still fun none the less.
Im still waiting for my carton of XXXX ahahaha.
MORE IMPORTANTLY - if anyone from the coast is coming up.. please suggest a meeting point for you lads so you can all roll to Downey Park as a crew as it will be easier. |

I thought it was time for a cruise out that way, i apologise to all the gold coast lads. IF some of you get keen, just hook up with the others down that way and cruise up from there.
Im looking forward to this one for sure. I think i better get my car tuned before though *starts looking for a decent tuner in Brissy for my EMS Stinger* |

Ok guys we are getting some numbers now, i have updated the list with some of the boys from ALSC who are coming also. Also ive put down what they are bringing with them.
Can anyone confirm that there are BBQs out there at Wivenhoe? Im 96% confident there are....
If not we may need to figure something out like a small portable BBQ.
Anyone want to volunteer to bring some soft drinks, ice and cups ?
** also , can you please put down if you are bringing someone so i can get numbers for the snags.

I'd say I'll be in the Aristo this time as the soarer should be in the workshop for its "finishing touches" performance wise 
Any other gold coasters out there keen to meet up before heading to brisvegas? it'll be an early morning but will be worth it....I'm a plus one as well James, Danni's coming along

Last time us Gold Coasters headed to Brisbane, we met at the BP opposite Dreamworld.
If you get there before our leave time, Probably 8 am, then get a coffee or some breaky from the shops there. Also a chance to top up with fuel if low. |

Hay Ian Downey park is about 2.5 hrs from Gympie i can meet you at Gympie Mcdonalds at 6 0 clock and we can head down to BP Forest Glen and meet up with Mike at 7 0 clock To be at Doeney park by 9 0 clock.
