I would like to get to a dyno whilst the car is stock to see how much power its got at the mo befor the mods take place..
Just wondering if anyone else would be up for it aswell?
And where etc.. Im defo gunna go when i can so who ever wants to join is welcome, thankss |

kent will do it for $40 for 3 power runs but we need at least 12 cars hi torque is on the gold coat and if you can give me some dates i can get onto him and book a day |

Guys I have some were in mind that we can do a dyno day
BUT it will be closer to christmas
The tuners i use are opening a new work shop Half way between the gold coast and brisbane
this will be happening with in the next couple of weeks
I will have a talk to them tomorrow and see if thay want to do a dyno day there.
It makes it a perfect spot for Brisbane guys and gold coast guys.
Also you could make it into a mini cruise from either end. |

I just have to wait and see when thay are moving
Could be before the end of this month
I have our house settling on the 12th of December so the following weekend after the 12th is out for me.
then don't forget willobank on the 27th December

Anthony if you want your car dynoed just go ahead and pay for a separate dyno. These things have a habit of taking ages to organise, or never eventuate.
If you speak to Ken at hi torque, he used to do dyno runs for about $60. |

Ok i found this on a CB, dunno if anyone is interest or if this sounds any good..
Hey guys and girls,
We at B.E.S.T Performance Motorsport at Sumner Park, will be holding a dyno day on Saturday the 6th of December
What: Dyno day
Where: B.E.S.T Performance, 8/10 Jijaws St, Sumner Park
When: 06/12/08 Saturday starting at 9 am till whenever.
How much: If you want to put your car on the dyno it will be $50 (3 runs and a print out), spectators are free. Food is also available on the day, $2 for a sausage on bread and $1 for a can of drink.
There will be 2 classes Turbo/Supercharge and Naturally Aspirated. On the day we will be running the B.E.S.T performance handicap system!
The system works whereby power will be worked out as kilowatts per cylinder, eg:
190kw / 4 cylinders = 47.5 kw/cyl.
370kw / 8 cylinders = 46.25 kw/cyl.
So according to these example figures the 4 cylinder car will beat the 8 cylinder.
Therefore by having the highest power reading (kw) it doesn't necessarily mean you will dominate the day - makes for an interesting dyno day to look at the cars in a different way. Winners will receive vouchers to get work done at B.E.S.T (amount TBA)
There are only 20 spots available so get in quick and pay by Sat 29th November to secure your spot.
