thanks Daniel hopefully it will be a yes from you i don't want to be the only soarer owner there because if no one from here shows up i will attend this with the evo crew. It will be good to see your beast and catch up with you, i want to look at getting some mods done in the near future.
The weather usually gets cold at eastern creek at 7 onwards any ways so people should not worry that much but i can understand how the weather would turn some people off racing.
• Ensure you bring your current driver’s licence or your current ANDRA licence and current ANDRA logbook. You will not be permitted to race without these documents. • Cost to enter is $50. This fee covers the driver and two vehicle passes (race vehicle and one other car). Additional adult passes are $20 and may be purchased at time of entry. All other entry purchases must be made through the spectator entrance. No passes can be left at the gate. No additional vehicle passes can be purchased. • Entries will be taken from 4:30pm. This are the rules applicable for us.. right??
is it necessary to have a ANDRA license??
cause I don't have any ANDRA license.. and I'm steel looking forward to Leo's reply to my PM..
Thanks Ryan.. but my drivers license is from overseas.. and its an International Motor Driving License.. That's what I'm driving here with.. and Its approved from RTA.. They got my record in there system. As I'm an International Student.. I don't need an Australian license as long as I'm in my student visa or any temporary visa..
# Is it fine??
# And what is this "approved crash helmet"??
# I don't have any helmet.. so I'll need to buy one..and how much will it cost?
# How about motorcycle helmet?? Is that alright or i need to buy any specific helmet??

An Australian approved Motorbike helmet is fine, as long as it has no marks on it, and shows no signs of being in an accident, and still has its Aus Standards sticker on it, it should be fine
Leo.. I'm coming for sure.. I'm now in my friend's place.. so when I'll go back home.. I'll reply to your PM.. and count me as I'm in.. hope to see you soon..
Thank You..
But Daniel, I didn't get it.. for what I'll need one ANDRA license??
I don't have any.. and I don't think my one goes faster than 11.99..
Actually I don't know about it..
Only once I did quarter mile.. with some of my friends.. and using a cell phone's stopwatch what they get was 14.49 and I'm 100% sure that.. there is calculation error..
I don't know.. Hopefully I'll get to know on Wednesday
What about the things in my car.. I mean.. I'm not going to drag with my subs on the back.. I'll take those out and put them somewhere.. OR I should bring another car to put those things >> like sub.. spare tyre.. and tools.. Or leave those things at home..

if i was you i would really take everything out of the car the last thing you will want is alot of noises coming from moving items. As well as items getting in your way while driving.
If you can bring another car that would be a bonus for you because you can put your parts in there. As for the subs take them out so they dont move as well as saving weight.
Ill see you there because i need to service the car before hand, pm me your contact details and ill call you when i am about to go to wsid.

It was a great fun night even though it was a little hot, it got a little cooler as time went by i started with 15.8 and managed a pb of 15.4 and a 2.2 or 2.3 60 foot time, my mph was best of 90 so the tyres did not help for top end i think its ok from a stock soarer knowing it can do alot better. It was a great to meet another soarer owner and to have a grudge match v8 vs TT stock.
My tyres were worn from the inside (alot). I left WSID and got half way down ferris road when my tyre gave out looked like a massive chunk was taken out of it on the inside.
Can not wait to get some decent tyres and go back again.
But Leo my tyres are all good.. and no significant problem yet..
Any way.. It was fun over there.. as it was my first time.. and it was really nice V8 vs TT
I've faced Leo twice.. the first run and the last run..
I've started with 16.238 and managed to get a best of 15.744 (both against Leo)
and my 60's was between 2.616 to 2.880 over 91.80 mph.. With every single thing as stock.. nothing modified.. nothing at all.. not even the air filters..
So I think it was pretty nice.. and also as it was my first time..
But the 6th run was awesome.. It was so close competition between us.. we were side by side all over the track..
Leo had a R/T of 0.412 60's at 2.438 330's at 6.678 660's at 10.205 1000's at 13.245 ET= 15.777 with 89.80 MPH
where I had a R/T of 0.666 60's at 2.624 330's at 6.951 660's at 10.351 1000's at 13.279 ET= 15.744 with 91.64 MPH
The funny thing is.. in the first run.. I had a R/T of 0.527 and ET= 16.238 and Leo had a R/T of 0.831 and ET= 15.941 >> Where i beat Leo in 0.0073 because of the R/T.. Though his ET was better than me..
And in the last run.. I had a R/T of 0.666 and ET= 15.744 and Leo had a R/T of 0.421 and ET= 15.777 >> Where Leo beat me in 0.2215 because of the R/T.. Though my ET was better than him..
but at the end of everything.. it was a nice event there at wsid
for all the pictures from the event go to the top link.
also raafi i had a pod you had your spair wheel out of your car. My wheels where gona before the event as in bair metal was showing hence why my mph was so crap and 60 footers were so crap.
Bring it on next time its a healthy rivalry between the tt and v8
at the end of the day all i have to say is 15.4 but to be honest it was fun and thats what matters

It is good to see that you guys had fun. Were there many entries on the night? How many times did you race on the track? It would of been better if the weather was cooler
