Ive also got some mates who are meeting up at my place and then we're all cruising down to Burpengary, so if any other local guys in southeast brissy around Rochedale/Mt Gravatt/Chandler who wanna meet up in the morning at the caltex or something along Mt gravatt-capalaba road just before the turnoff to the gateway that'd be cool as well. Its a 45 minute drive out to Burpengary so we'd probably want to meet up around 7:50 and then hit the road by 8. Keep us posted.

Umm im not really if its THAT one exactly but there are TWO of them... very big "Service Centers" they are on both sides of the freeway pretty much facing each other. You cant miss them hey.

no worries mate. the caltex isnt that big so you should spot us pretty easily. It also looks like bom have given us a good weather forecast for sunday as well with showers easing away saturday and a fine day on sunday!
Also, if anyone has got a UHF or walkie talkie, bring that along with you as well. Get onto a truckers channel and find out if we are gonna get a clear run up to Noosa not that we're going to be misbehaving or anything..

I have a 10 channel scanner.. however, i don't have the brisbane frequencies. Also, they tend to change frequencies from area to area.. Most of the major channels are the same though. If i remember to pack it, it'll come along..
Also, roughly how long will it take to get from the mall in brisy to burpengary?? Staying at chifley on lennons and don't really have that much of an idea about travel times around brisy..

I might just drag it to the Morayfield BP meet... will suck seeing everyone else go from there... but at least if it dies, a tow-truck from there is affordable (as opposed to if it dies in noosa)
Tim why not leave your car at Morayfeild,hitch a ride with someone,that way you don't miss out on all the fun,you can pick it up on the way back to Brissy. Good to have you along Adam.
