Hey Everyone,
I just realised that a cruise was on just this weekend gone, haha, but I am in the process of organising a cruise myself.
It was originally just for a few friends and I, but that's boring. I want soarers there.
My friend and I have a soarer, but we cant rally many randoms, so im putting out the word to anyone who wants to join in, even if you didn't get your fix from last weekend!
Its a pretty big one, 6 legs across south and north perth so bring fuel.
7pm start at Carousel Shopping Centre car park (I'm hoping top level under the sails, but if it's busy we will move somewhere else)
I have never done a cruise map before, but have been on a few, so hopefully its not sucky. I will have some on hand to give out.
I'm not expecting big numbers, but if anyone rocks up its better than nothing!
We will probably grab dinner somewhere on the 2nd leg too.
pray for no cops ...... I just cant be bothered with them
Anyone interested, I can message you my mobile, just so I can feel like a true cruise creator.

hey chris. i'm hell bummed out about missing the cruise yesterday so your awesome for having this one, lol. well depending on if i get paid i'll meet up at carousel, but i dunno if i'll be able to stay for the whole thing because i need to pay for my comp and shift kit and other bits for my baby, lol. i'll try but no promises. |

Definitely dont care what you bring! It's turbo so thats even better
Its not really a "soarer" cruise, but considering I am only posting on here, it will be majority soaring.
Might have a few friends in random cars to bump up numbers - so your rex wont really be out of place
Great to be getting some good feedback - I'm hoping it will be a great night!
I have 6 legs set up, but people can drop off depending on whether a particular stop is closer to home for them and they would just be driving away. I do that all the time!
Considering its from carousel, around freo up to karrinyup and around to belmont (i want to be vague .....) its going to hit 150km easy so I dont expect everyone to hang on all night!
I will be bringing my camera and tripod - its kinda my thing - so make them cars pretty - photos galore!
Oh and unless there are objections, I will have my electric R/C car with me, I seem to use it as much as my mobile phone so it will definitely be in the boot.

i think i saw the ad to the big sat night cruise at wtfauto today. it's 20 bucks a car as it's a 17th annual charity event or something along those lines i think |

Well the cruise happened but not many showed up, maybe cos of the other cruise or maybe I didnt plan it with enough time for people to get organised my bad.
Anyway for those of us who came, it was great. Good to meet you all and exchange stories of the soarers and mods etc, hope we can have more cruises in the future with more cars!
Thanks to Caleb, Peter, Ty and Malcolm for coming. Bad luck to Kristian who had some radiator trouble and could'nt make it, hope you can be on the next one mate!
Oh, and according to Caleb, on the way home I popped some flames about 50cm long ..... running rich much?? hahahha I did NOT expect that
Some pics - didn't get many, was too busy talking, but I will get plenty more on future cruises.

it was still good fun even though a couple people piked out lol. it was good to meet you guys (and girls).
yeh when we left karrinyup and chris gave it a bit the flames looked bloody awesome lol.
the last stretch through scarborough where we gave it some was def a bit of fun. when we were heading home and it was just chris and i we went through tunnel and let rip, that was brilliant. haven't done that in my car for a while, and better not get used to it lol. me thinks i won't have a license for much longer if i get cocky like that too often lol |

I was so pissed off, I had just done a radiator flush that day, with a new Thermo, I left for caro, and the temp went ++++++ so I had to stop... Eventually got home and fixed it all up. Think there was a major air pocket in the cooling system.. all's sweet now.
I had to laugh at the P plates.. I'm also a green P hahaha. |

HAHA DAVID! i know right haha! it looks ok, but yeah lemon! i need new turbos now, pretty sure at the lights on Leach Caleb so a woft of smoke out the exhaust when i let it rip haha!! |

i thought you let a huge burnout rip at first lol, but then you said about your turbos and i was like oh ow. then again mines doing the same lol. it was def a decent cloud sorry to say ty |

Yeah that cloud was like a burnout cloud, so if you were not burning rubber, that wasn't a good sign at all
I still can't believe the flames, I'm gonna have to get some video evidence some time hahaha
Yeah the run along West Coast Hwy was quite nice, and I have to say when I was leading most of the way on the legs, and making a manouver and watching 4 other soarers indicate, turning lights activate, and all move across mimicking me, was f ing awesome .... such a nice feeling to see them all in unison! hahah
I could get use to that!
