ive removed the centre console trim, was trying to pull the emv out, but got stuck as there isnt any tutorial with pictures anywhere..tried to loosen one of the 4 screws holding it to the ac cage, couldnt, too tight. tried to pull the whole cage out, couldnt wires attached which i cant seem to disconnect :S

All of the screws that need to be taken out are visible once the trim has been taken off, so you should be able to see which ones need to be unscrewed. There are the 4 that are set back a bit towards the rear of the emv, then there are some at the top, from memory.
The wires will have those annoying Toyota electrical clips on them which are bastards to unclip and really mangle your fingers. Will pay to use pointy nose pliers or a small flat head screw driver to help unclip them.

fks sake my fingers are fked. damn toyota connecters. i managed to take everything out and put it back in. so thats done. now i need to get those capacitors to fix the emv. also, can i put an aftermarket sub or amp or speakers into the factory system without making any changes?
