They can never agree and cruises are always small. The only thing they can agree on is a local restaurant to cruise to... Last cruise I went to like that I had more fun getting there than the actual cruise.
Go checkout the other states crusies. They are bigger and better planned. I had great times on their cruises.

It is the way you post it, like I said this is all just idle chit chat in this thread. Who can be bothered reading 2 pages of crap?
It only takes one person to set a date, time, location and route and you won't need the endless debate thats going on here.
I have been to plenty of soarer cruises in Vic with 15-25 cars each time. I dont think I have ever seen your car at a cruise maybe your just not showing up to the right ones?
The link above to the Reefton Spur cruise was the first cruise I ever organised on here and we got about 15 cars to do the 200km route through the mountains. From the feedback in the thread everyone loved the cruise and it was all planned right down to maps.

I'm not a morning person and the cruises usually start the other side of the city to where I am. When I did go on cruises it was arvo/evening cruises. I've done StKilda to arthers Seat twice and the mountains twice and the last 2 didnt even get out of the city. All the cruises since then that have gone ahead around the time I join in havent gone anywhere so why bother? A cruise is a car and a road, not dinner or a pool hall.
When they start later (evenings are great) then you might see me more often.
Oh, actually the last few cruises I was on were in Queensland, thats probably why you havent seen me. I wasnt in Vic.

Ah well that explains it then, the majority of cruises here start late morning/midday and always head out to country/coastal roads. Reason being is that its far too dangerous to take 15-20 cars through mountain passes in the dark.
I haven't been on the night cruises as there usually boring (no matter what car club I have found) as you usually end up standing around in car parks, cruising through the suburbs, attracting cop attention etc.. Personally I'd rather be out there driving on fun roads than cruising the suburbs.

I am happy to try and organise one. I kinda do it for a living so cordinating less then 100 Soarers will be no big deal.
Let me check some long range weather forcasts, Police operations and shedules and i'll get back to you.
Frankly I'd be doing it for Melbourne East side and heading out towards Healsville, Moronda dam, Warborton etc. Easy safe drives with heaps of over taking lanes etc.
I'll firgure it out and put up and expression of interest tonight/tommorow

If you need assistance mapping the route, let me know as we have done a few drives out that way.
We started in Rowville > Gembrook > Warburton > Reefton Spur (one of my favourite roads in Vic, 40km of fun twisites!) > Marysville > Black Spur > Healsville.
