Umm, in short, no! hahha!
Although I have recently added new tyres and fixed the camber so I have bulk traction in the wet - I keep trying to break it even around corners - only happens on full boost - 7 or 8 psi just pulls nice and hard - its quite comforting haha!
Well, I suppose if you can plan a map for different shopping centres with undercover parking areas, and its not POURING with rain the whole time - I'll come along - I can't say no to a cruise.
But really, wet + turbo = stress.

Yeh it'd kinda need to be a fairly sunny day. I went one one on sunday with a couple of mates and it was good because the roads were fairly dry. We did hit a couple of wet patches but nothing too bad. I agree with chris except for one change; wet + turbo = crash  |

haha! try doing what i do, driving on wet roads with 275/35's 18 inch, COMPLETLY ILLEGAL tyres
due to the size and the fact, you cant see anymore tread
basically i go 90% without even going past 2.5k revs, the car literally goes 180 when the turbos kick in if i had money id buy new tyres meh haha |

Wet roads are interesting in my Hilux, it's like driving a giant Ice Skate. Nothing like heading onto the freeway on the way home, only to find that upon changing to 3rd gear and grabbing hand fulls of opposite lock.
Wasn't so bad in the Soarer, it's expected, 2.8L Diesel that barely pulls the skin off a lemon tends to come a bit out of left field. |

At the risk of attracting negativity i genuinely hope you get caught by the Police, get a big fat fine, a yellow sticker and have a lot of troubles getting your car road worthy again.
Taking pride in driving a car that is so badly unsafe to drive on the road even when you endeavour to not lose control is beyond stupidity.
I pray you dont end up hurting or damaging someone else or their property.
You should be ashamed. |

tyres came with the car, mate if i didnt get made redundant and still had a job and could afford new tyres, of course i would buy new tyres...
im not purposly driving around thinking its HILARIOUS and FUN to do, i need my car and when i can afford to change tyres i will... but im not intentionally spinning out because i can, its because i cant help it, hence when i drive wet roads i do it slowly as possible... im just stating the fact of why i prefer not to have a cruise in the wet...i never said i took pride in it |
