OK so lets settle on a Saturday - but day or night?
I liked the recent day cruise because we can see the cars, but night cruises have a different feel to them.
Maybe we go for a night cruise this time - around 8pm or so.
Meet point central somewhere? Car park just off the causeway along riverside drive?
How about, like a river cruise? All the way down to fremantle (stirling hwy) then back through to burswood (canning hwy) with a few stops in between, then off to somewhere else to end it?
I dunno - keep posting up ideas and once we agree on something we can get a date set and all rock up and figure it out hahaha |

Bah - they ARE out - on a Soarer cruise!
Ok - so earlier time? Only issue is the sun will be in our eyes all the way down to Fremantle, but we could meet up at sunset 6:30 ish so there is still a bit of light but nothing in our eyes all along Stirling Hwy.

Sounds good 8pm seems like a good start time. Just an idea i did a coastal run the other day... started from riverside then through cottesloe, city beach, scarborough and then back down the freeway through the farmer tunnel. It was pretty good fun but then again it was during the daytime |

PS, Its all well and good if you put a 2JZ in a skyline or something, But not a RB26 into a soarer! Why would you put an inferior (on stock internals) engine in a soarer!, Unless of course you just love the sound of the RB26, I mean, Who doesn't? |

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but most likely central - riverside drive car park or something along those lines.
I know its far away, but it comes in swings and roundabouts, my first soarer cruise started in Kingsway and I live 40mins from there!
Will be great if you can make it - along with everyone else, this is going to be a good turnout - much better than my last organised cruise!! Haha!
Also, I have almost finished the cruise draft. Anyone willing to look over it and make any changes, PM me your email address.
I would rather not post up the full cruise map on here. 1, it ruins it. 2, everyone on the internet will know the details which could turn messy. |
