| We've done one before Adam and it's good fun. Not hard to organise. Ring up AHG, confirm a date and off you go. You just need to have enough money to pay them while you wait for all of us to pay you. |

| If we couldn't get enough people just from here, I have a couple of rev-head mates that would definitely be interested. Nissan skyline, 350z and MKIV supra. |

| Keep it in the family. No skylines, supras, VW or any Nissan if you want a good cruise. Adam, what have you done to your soarer ? |

| Adam P, I was talking about the AHG Driving course mate, not the cruise. With you 100% with the cruise, but if you cant get numbers for AHG then it just costs more, Its 60 bucks each if you get 16 people. But otherwise its more ++ Every time a person drops out so 14 - 70 Etc. |

| Ahh, not much unfortunately... More blowing my own horn then anything else (Hey Kristian, lucky it's not the "toe" thread eh?) I've only got a Twin Screw running at 6psi with Neil's u-beaut large extractors. She's not too bad atm, only put out 223kw atw when I had the fuel reg put on and checked, but feels much quicker. Still got stock ecu in it and you can really feel the difference a more suitable ecu would make. If you floor her, you can feel when the ecu catches up as you get a kick in the ass low to mid rev range which feels like it's dropping back a gear. Would probably struggle to keep up with the Supra (if it's not the N/A version) also the Skiline, haven't had the oportunity to see whether it would keep up with them or not... probably not atm, The 350Z though... Bloke at work's got one, and he got creamed coming out of work one day Actually managed to pass him whilst drifting... Shat my pants, but have never felt anything like it since Hoping with the new ecu (probably put a stage 2 shift kit through at the same time, 440 inj and bumpin' pressure up to 10psi, would like 12 but have been told to keep it to 9 or 10 if I want stock reliability, which we all know is excellent if looked after, without any internal engine work) we (me and The Beast, and no Adam, I'm not reffering to my overseas missus ) should get closer to the 300 mark after that... Should be able to give the Supra and Skyline a run then, eh? Thinking I'll probably have a fairly larg exhaust drag then as the system is still stock minus the rear muff (just that one simple mod made it sound awesome, barks but no drone) and one other exhaust part which will be replaced with a hi flow one when the rest is done. Looking at putting a magna flow system through it, but finance wise, will have to wait till end of year or longer me thinks. Hey Adam, you coming to the cruise??? Don't see your name down mate. Your's would make a nice addition to the cruise. Be a shame if you missed. |

| Oh hell yes an AHG driving day yes please. I haven't been to one for years, and last time I was in a commoboat. We shall discuss tomorrow night, and Adam, if you want to take the reigns of calling up that's fine, however if up front payment is an issue I can help out with that, and organising with you if you like. We could probably do something in about 2 months or so - pending their bookings, because a dry day can happen around September/October. Now that I own a helmet (thanks ebay!) I am down for drags and driving days. Bring on the cruise - 27 hours to go! |

| Thanks Chris, that real decent of you. I'll give AHG a call next week, see what is said tomorrow. Sept/Oct sounds like a good time, weather wise and (selfishly) for myself I'm thinking I'll have some extra dosh around before then, so fronting up the costs shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again for the offer dude. I'll keep you all updated when I've got my arse into gear. I haven't done much for the club/forum whatever yet, so thinking it's about time. Catch yas all morrow night... P.S. If there are any female owners out there reading, please come, the more the merrier and it'd be good to get more of a variety of people there. We boy's promise we'll behave... Mostly |

| No worries mate - it will be good to meet you. And for those who are still unsure about the zig zag ..... One look at this should give you the idea.
The topography says its about 100m of difference between the top of the road and the bottom. Looks sick on the map! But please, take (most of) it slow, there are no railings, so don't go falling 100m down the side of Gooseberry Hill all at once ..... |

| Ok Kristian, But let's get something straight. We aren't going out to do 180km/h along riverside drive. In fact, there is no real "speeding" at all. Generally its at the speed limit the whole way, with a few bursts along a highway or something, which is open, and clear of other traffic, but nothing over the top. It's more about cruising - taking up both lanes 10+ cars all looking sweet - even at 60kph its still fun. Sure we will accelerate the hell out of every traffic light (where applicable) and the occasional corner may be taken at speed, but there is no real "speeding" for your girlfriend to worry about. At least, that is my view anyway - if not, I suppose I will see you all a few minutes later at each meet point |

Ali, I think I am pretty short, so hopefully headroom wont be an issue for me. Still, for $45 a nice new helmet will be worn whether I fit in the car or not haha! |

Anyway, it was a great night - so thanks to everyone for rocking up and for those who stuck it out to the very end - it was great. Much better than my last cruise turn out anyway! Hope everyone had a good time - and I would like to officially change the name to: Soarer Central July "F**kin Freezing Cruise" 2009 Photos to be uploaded shortly |
