Event: Whoop Ass Wednesday
Location: Motorplex - Kwinana
Time: 5pm Gates Open at the 'Plex
Racing Starts: 6pm
Finish: 9pm or something around that
Cost: $45 for non-licensed members (I would assume is most of us)
Requirements: Helmet, Long Sleeves, Long Pants, Enclosed Shoes, and nothing loose hanging off your car!
From my experience, they check the basics of your car - seat belt, engine bay, tyres/rims. As long as nothing is broken or loose or worn or damaged or whatever, considering you drove it down there, should be all good.
MEETING POINT:
Cockburn Central Shopping Centre Car Park
4pm-4:15pm - Leaving 4:30pm SHARP
The new area is not on any map I can find, but it IS there. New set of traffic lights at Tapper road, a big Good Guys store there, we can park there somewhere. Hopefully wont be as busy as Gateways around that time!

haha well I probably could, not sure if I am at the level where that will make much difference though - particularly with boost cut most likely planning to destroy my night 
worst part is the spare tyre - need a support crew car to stow the stuff in so I can at least take it down there. Any takers? |

Dan i may have to borrow your back seat too lol. planning to take out the headlight when we get down there to increase the airflow to the airbox. i think ill take out the spare/boot floor etc at home |

how much will it cost me to put my car into the pit area instead of the spectators car park?? That way ill be right next to yas when you need anything lol |

Its $15 mate. Security will check your car to see if you really are carrying tools/tyre etc. then they'll let you in behind us |

Hey Ty yeh just follow me in and say that you're crew. I'll bring a couple of towels/rags along for the tyre/headlight etc.
@Chris Prak just as a matter of interest what mods had you done to your car when you ran your 12 second pass? |

If you guys live North, I might be able to organise bring of Tyres in my Ute. Don't plan to run it or my soarer on the Track, but I wouldn't mind watching. Got plenty of room in there! Not sure how we'd get them from the ute to the cars though?? |

Yeah thats true.. I got like 4 mates that constantly enter their cars but their just ss's and hsv's... So every second car is the same lol.. Gets boring.. Be good to see a few soarers on the strip. Once i get my diff looked at and make sure its not gonna die if i thrash it ill see if i can sneak in a 12.XX =) |

I reckon your car could do that pretty nicely Dan. My car however is mostly stock so i'd be really happy with a low 14/ high 13. I'm heading down tonight to watch my mate give his legnum a run. You gonna be there tonight? |

Ok so if I can have my tyre in someones car thats great - I will supply the towel haha!
I might get the back seats out - depends if i can be bothered on the weekend haha.
Yeeeehawwww 1 week to go.
Boost cut is going to suck .... but hoping I can play the throttle a bit and have nice solid boost all the way through the 1/4. . . . |

Chris, I wouldn't bother going with boost cut still in place if your hitting it on open throttle. Your gonna kick yourself afterward each run hoping for a perfect run haha |

Well yes, I probably will kick myself but I still have fun on the road with a bit of cut - and I have been practicing getting the throttle right and getting some nice smooth changes without cut. Plus, I am getting a piggy back ecu installed and tuned soon, so I want a benchmark to see how much of a difference it makes for me, and hoping that will tune out the boost cut too. |
