yeah i cannot remember his last name.... it's one of those long tricky ones. But it's a black soarer with custom plates and a mean engine. He'll be putting it on the dyno a couple of times over the weekend.

went saturday night, saw Simon's car, and what can i say, Beautiful car, Love the supra seats, the wheels everything perfect. Did anyone see that soarer which had a r34 front conversion and the back was something i have never seen before. Crazy car, But Simons was beter.

Well done Simon. Your car was very swish. Regarding the manual conversion that we were discussing, where in Japan did you import the parts from and how much did it end up costing you?
Best to have a chat to Lew on these forums. He took over where the last guy left off, and is able to source you the parts needed for the manual conversion. Cost will depend on how far you want to go with the conversion. I bought a lot of new parts and had a custom clutch built, so it cost a bit more than a "normal" setup. Expect to pay between $2500 and $3000 for a "kit" of the required parts for a basic conversion. Add labour, and you'll be pushing the $4k-5k mark.

I managed to pick up the seats from a trimmer in Sydney (Concord Motor Trimmers). They were freshly retrimmed before I bought them, and cost me slightly under the $1k mark for both seats.

hey kylie,
were you the one with the silver soarer that came up to me when i was on the phone? think it was like on the saturday of the autosalon when you told me about simons' black soarer, the one with the 2jz motor slapped in.
