Yeah i use to wave but hardly anyone waves back so you feel stupid. Its always been about having a better or faster car the next guy and thats why no ones waves. Went through this with my R33, everyone wanted to drag and i taught a few people a lesson but after that i just got sick of idiots egging me on and thing their car is a rocket.
Anyway today i saw a Silver stock 94 at work, some old guy driving it. Then saw a nice 94 in blue on Main North Rd at abou 2pm. Right rear light was smashed and they guy must be new to Soarers as he had the new style plates like SXXX ***. Also saw that tough black one with black centred polish lip rims twice driving past work. |

I must confess I rarely refuse lining someone up unless I consider it to unsafe!
What did you think of the Soarer in comparison with the R33? I know they are different cars but I was choosing between the two and picked JZZ30. |

Stock for stock a Soarer will be faster than a R33. I was actually saying when i had my r33 it seemed every other r33 in SA wanted to drag.
Thats why i like the Soarer as i dont really get too many people wanting to drag me, only had a few younger guys with their V8 in the city wanting a go. Having said that the current Soarer is one of the least modified cars ive had and its been defected the most (4 times in 6 months). My Silvia had big power and didnt have to many dramas, Ceffy x 2 was also good but alot of dickheads kept yelling out for my to drift bro haha,r33 was the most modified but the Silvia came in a close second. The r33 was pretty much build for track until i brought it out once for a mates BDAy as no one had ever seen in just photos, short story i got defected on O'connell and lsot a fiar bit of cash selling it as it was too modified to get off defect ever again. Then i had a Soarer been build for track work but mosstly drift which was stolen and burnt from the painters shop. Car had no insurance as i had cancelled it thinking there was no point paying if the car was gonna be sitting at a garage for the nexy 6 months and here we are with the current car. Like i said i think this current Soarer is cursed with police attention. Next on the menu will be a black on black 99 depending if i can track on down in Japan as i highly doubt ill find one here in the condition im after.

Dude you have had some shocking luck haha! Yes I have been saying for years stock vs stock Soarer is faster!
The main thing that got me was value! Ive had good luck with mine so far, its the first import ive had as well! |

Who was that parked on Melbourne Street about midday yesterday? Nice looking Soarer, was drak green i think, too much traffic to slow down and have a better look. Would love to have a closer look at how you did your exhausts, they are like out pipes on a boat. Looks really nice actually with the exhausts moulded into the bar. Anyone know the owner? |
