I am just hoping to make it, things are a bit tight for me time wise, My wife now has to work, and as she has just returned from maternity leave she cant say no, although she has swapped he night shift for a day shift, I just hope our baby sitter can take the kids for a few hours.
I am real keen Paul, this may be the only time I get to take the Soarer out for a ride, a friend came around for a visit the other day and made me an offer on the Soarer of $7k ( it owes me $4850) I told him to give me a week to think it over, I have really grown fond of it,

I'll come out and have a crack at the 1/4 mile again. It will be good to see a heap of soarers out there at once. Will be the first time doing a run in the soarer for me.
I ran into a dude at Harry's Diner with a supercharged 1UZ a couple of times that mentioned this event. Sorry can't remember your name.

I found out it was cancelled when I got out there, I moved mountains to get there, wife changed shifts, changed baby sitters 3 times, oh well thats life, it was a good drive by myself with the tunes blasting out, I passed another Soarer, on my way home, might have been headed out there, now I know where Willowbank is, count me in for next time

Yea, I was installing some shock inserts into my MR2 all day and it was pissing down, so I gave it a miss. Didn't want to risk driving out there just to get rained out.

Sorry guys about the night, I was at Lews helping him get the van done to take it out and the weather closed in. I got a call from a mate to say it was canceled, but was probably to late for those that made the trip out.
Here are a couple of pics of Lews van with the Weld wheels fitted, he had to pump the rear guards about 30mm to get them to fit.
For those of you who dont know this weapon, about 340rwkw of sheer madness.
I will organise another date and hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder.
