Ok this sat night, if its not pissing down like it is now, me and some boys from work are going out for a run, i really need to get a emb tune in so will call Cihan today, with that in i would like to see a high 12 but if i don't get one in time well 13.5 ish should be it, mods are bfi, front mount, 2.5" exhaust, 13psi.. mates got a vy clubsport with the exhaust done he thinks he's should run a high 12, so do you think the soarer is in with a chance to shut him up as its all i hear at work. |

I did a 12.9 with, FMIC, EMB, 3inch into 2 x 2.5 exhaust @ 16psi on stock turbos. |

sweet sounds like i should be around that i also have one of camrons shift kit, works a treat, im going to try and take off boost cut today and run 16 psi but me and computers, well we are not real good friends. |

if you can get your 60ft time down to around 1.8 with standard turbos then you should be close to busting into the 12's with mild mods |

Well lol not real good, the track was not the best and thats being kind, it had been rainning that day and very slippery my best 60ft was 2.9 at 97 mph for a 15.2 could not put foot down till 2nd gear and even then she still wanted to spin, the first run im thinking give it a bit so thats what i did i seen 140 kph and only gone about 55ft,
but had fun will try again next month. |

A stock 6cyl falcodore will do 2.2-2.5, somethings not right there. |

Ha ha the clubby was a no show.
yer some better rubber and i dry track would help they had 2 or 3weeks off so im thinking a bit off dust and a bit of rain, not so cool, but i will be back next sat. |

Ok iv'e been back down to the strip and on 11psi with front mount cooler, bfi and 2 1/2 and cams shift kit i got a 14.41 and the vy clubby got a 14.39 so i went home and me and a mate bilt a set of 2 1/2 dump pipes into 3" and put a 3" exhuest on,took boost cut off the EMB and turned it up to 15psi. |

Whats going on, I ran my stock soarer with one stuffed turbo and just a cat back exhaust with standard tyres and did a 14.3! |

Wasnt happy hey!
Lack of experience with a turbo engine doesnt make it the easiest to diagnose where I could be losing power.
Its been suggested that I could have a boost leak. Just got to find the time and equipment to check that and sort it out if so...
Anyways, I wont hijack this topic...
I'll post the same thing up in my build topic in the TT area and keep chatting on it there if you like |

if you are running no engine management with that turbo, there is your answer. That WILL need a tune as airflow characteristics are just so different to the standard maps. Get some decent injectors and a decent tune. You WILL trap 120mph with that turbo on 23 or so psi. Also at 12psi that compressor is not in its efficiency range on a 2.5litre |

Right now, budget pretty much allows for an Emanage Ultimate... cannot afford a full replacement ECU (given that I'd also need to buy a controller for the auto).
Injectors are stock, looking to go either USDM Supra items (550cc) or a set of Sard 650's. |

Mate give me a call when ya can i have an adaptronic ECU and harness new still in the box I am going to go a different way with my car so it is up for sale.
the injectors i can't help with but look at the 650cc it will be enough for what you are chasing.
800cc sards are a little to unpredictable to getting a complete set that have the same flow rates.
that is what i have found with mine anyway. |

Rob it should take all the speed/ rev restrictions away as you will be running the engine totally from the adaptronic $900 with the harness |

I use EFI peromance and thay are a dealer for adaptronic but there are other guys in brisbane that are also dealers www.adaptronic.com.au |
