Spotted i think it was "Zone 2" SOTR heading north on the freeway and also spotted a black auto soarer in joe's workshop in wangarra. |

Mine was on the back of RAC Wed night .. smoke from under the dash .. sitting at lights at horse shoe bridge on Roe and thought, gee, somethings burning .. drove another fifty metres then nearly s*#t my daks when I saw it was me burning .. luckily was only a power lead to the radio .. all good now but bugger me, scared the crap out out of me .. never moved so fast in my life .. |

haha well i didnt catch on fire.. But my belt and tensioner shat themselves and i drained my battery driving to work cuz my belt was to loose to run my alternater and water pump lol |

yeah mate i live in coolbellup near coolbellup shops. Dave lives right near me too. theres a few round our area but alot of soarers that don't go to the cruises, must not be members. |

yeah there is a few of us south of the river. Maybe we should organise a meet up one day and cruise through freo and cott and do a quick beach run or something. What do ya guys reckon? |

I live off spearwood ave,
Have seen a yellow and a silver soarer getting onto waverly st off North lake road.
I dont driver the soarer much, but if you see a black soarer with heavy purple flakes that would be me

wow Peter - good to hear you and the car are OK.
That would not be a nice feeling .....
I remember seeing a couple of youtube videos of cars just driving along and a bit of smoke - from some loose wiring - and flames - and they get out and thats it - whole car goes up in smoke because there was no way to put the fire out. Scary stuff.
I carry a fire extinguisher in my boot - hopefully never have to use it - but even passing by other cars I feel its good to have - and only like $20. |

All I was thinking of is seeing her go up in flames .. not a nice thought .. I think an extinguisher is on the cards Chris .. I find myself now checking everywhere at the hint of an unusual smell .. driving me mad  |

Lol Niro that silver vertex kitted soarer is Matt and the yellow one lives not far from him in Coolbellup but is not a member on here i think. Peter that would have been a pretty •••••• up experience to go through while driving mate, glad to hear you and your car are unscathed. I might just invest in a extinguisher now too. Better to be safe than sorry i guess! |
