So i was a ••••••• dickhead last night and decided to RUN from the cops. (facebook post)
Put my foot down to beat a yellow light, bit down the rd I noticed a four wheel drive style car coming up quick, so I got suss, the lights went on and I stupidly enough tried to run, so I turned left at a corner and my wheels started smoking (from braking), mounted a island, continued straight, another round about, slowed down a little bit then turned right,(wheels... See More smoking from power) continued down the rd, another round about, went straight through, noticed a car in front of me so I went to overtake, then I got iffy when they started slowing down.. so i slowed down a lil bit, then as the car started turning right the indicated nice and late. To avoid I turned and mounted the curb then took out the car then bounced into a tree (Erskine shops), the tree snapped and fell on my roof and the cops caught up and opened my doors for me(I was stuck in the car because the branches wedged both doors closed....
Time to wrap it up, I "might" have some parts to sell in about 1 months time, interior maybe exterior, maybe some dead rims and maybe some engine bay stuff although I highly doubt that.

You retard. You hit another car on the road? I hope they throw the book at you. You don't belong on the streets and you deserve everything that happens to you and more. You could have killed innocent people. Killing yourself is just fine, but endangering others? No. |

Yeh stupid move for a yellow light.... i'm quite sure the old man in front didn't see me in his mirror or hear me honk, but at this stage I don't think I should be criticizing other peoples driving, especially after that stupidity.
Luckily the other driver was not harmed, and although a few of you might not agree it's a good thing... I was also not harmed.
I'm actually heading down to the cop shop soon to see if I can get the old guys address so I can apologize in person to him.
I can also say with ease I am going to lose my license but at this stage it doesn't bother me, i'll just get my bike into a ride able condition again.
The most stupid part is the fact that only a few hours before I was listening to the radio and bagging the dickheads that do this kind of ••••••• |

Why is it that out of every other forum (Perth-WRX, Skylines Australia, Even Just Commodores) Soarer central seems to have the most posts where people talk about their illegal activities like doing burnouts at parties to impress mates who bagged their soarer, and running from the police
What sort of rep is this going to earn the forum and soarer community? With this sort of behavior, and talking about it on the forum, expect police to show up at your cruises and defect everybody.

On a good note, Cameron, I happen to have a Free Agent B52 BMX, 36/48H Rims, 36T Chainwheel, New Tyres, New Haro Grips, Alloy Pedals. If your interested PM Me. The frame is amazingly light so it does skids pretty easily, and very easy to bunnyhop over those roundabouts if you happen to need to run away from somebody (Just don't run from police)
And mods who are reading this, it's not an opportunistic post, given the nature of the incident documented in the original post, We would all agree that SC members offering pushbikes to other SC members as alternative transport is a very kind.

Gobsmacked.
Firstly - why HONESTLY why would you write this story as if it was fun and you have no regrets. There is no compassion or remorse for your actions in that post, and almost makes you inhumane.
Secondly - if you DO ever get your licence back, which you should NOT, do not under ANY circumstances purchase another Soarer. These beautiful cars are being destroyed by complete losers like you.
Thirdly, remove yourself from this forum after apologising to this soarer community for tarnishing its image across Australia & New Zealand, not to mention the many international members. If this does affect the club's stance with the local police, you deserve everything you get for the rest of your life.

The cops have shown up on our cruises... on the last one they got out, checked all our cars out (Cause they liked them) chatted for about half an hour then left.
On my cruises I dont accept hooning or stupid behaviour, I know people are gonna give it a squirt here and there and thats fine but burnouts, sideways action, lack of common sense are a big no no and so far things have been peachy.
Cameron, please dont buy another soarer... help yourself to a silvia. |

Cameron, you are an absolute fwit .. mate, I'm in a wheelchair with spinal injuries (not vehicle accident) and I know soooo many people with spinal injuries, some very severe (I'm talking can't move there arms) from single accidents or from idiots like you who think they can outrun cops but end up the way you did. Well, at 22 years old I'd done some pretty dumb things too, but thats kinda above and beyond! Maybe if I had a 204+KW car when I was 22 I would also have gotten into a lot more trouble.

Yes fellas I am sorry for actually going out and dishonoring the soarer community, when the cops were trying to get info from the car they actually thought it was a skyline.. I said it was a soarer and they instantly assumed it was a nissan, so it's quite obvious that this stupid incident doesn't happen very often at all with these types of cars.
@ Chris - How do I make a post sound remorseful? I was just righting everything that had happened to relative detail. Anyways I am glad that the other driver was not injured, as soon as I was out of the car I was instantly asking if they were alright.
Unfortunately I was unable to get their details so I could personally apologize to them face to face, I have however started writing them a letter and intend on passing it onto the cops to give to them.
But yes it was a stupid and dangerous thing to do, and I do deserve whatever punishment I have coming to me. |

dude it was a silly mistake, and im sure we have all made some kind of a mistake when we are driving. At the end of the day no one got hurt.And no offence but soarers , supras, skylines,wrx's,silvias they are all performance cars and as such are all on equal level for stupid stuff happening in them, just cause we drive soarers doesn't mean we dont get up to the same stuff nissan drivers do |

To be completely honest, the soarer community is probably one of THE most well behaved car clubs i've ever come across.
I've been on a few soarer cruises, and everyone is VERY well behaved..i don't think i've ever actually seen a burnout on a soarer cruise.
I've been on open performance cruises, Silvia, Skyline etc cruises and alot of people are more daring.

At the end of the day, cops will ream us in the ass no matter what. They see any car with rims, lowered, and exhaust, it will be an instant vehicle of interest to them.
I'm sure if they see a bog stock Soarer they wouldn't do squat. Stupidity on his behalf, not the make of the car. Its a generalization with police, thats why they never get the names of the cars right. (Eg. "sports car" or as the media like to say "souped up cars" or one I've heard from a cop personally "fast n furious spec car").
Just relaaxx ayyee ! No need to expel Cameron from the forums or buying another Soarer guys. |
