| To replace the Feb one which was canceled because of the weather COSTS $40 to run and that gets one passenger in with you. $20 for spectators There is food available at the track. To run you will need an approved safety helmet long sleeves enclosed footwear. Gates open at 4PM and racing starts at 4.30 the number of runs you get will depend on overall cars there on the night. Lets hope the weather is a bit better. 1.Paul Drane. 2.Lew Radboune |

Man thats got to suck Tim. Had a look at the long range weather and it is not looking too good. So we will just have to wait and see. The rain has to go away sometime. |

| The weather forecast is basically for rain for the rest of the week. If its raining it will be canceled again and we will have to make it another time. |

| I'm out again. Got my defect cleared but it drained the finances a bit too much for a stint at the track this weekend. On the plus side, I went to court for my "driving an illegally modified vehicle" charge (issued at the same time as my defects) and got no fine and no conviction recorded. |

| C'mon mate, $40. It's not going to break the bank. It's cheaper than a slab of beer. Good news about the charges, too. |

I took mine out, never worked right anyway. Have to get a better one and a professional fitter to wire it, my old one looked like it was fitted by some one who had no idea what they were doing, and the previous owner paid to have it done. |

| Thats fine Tim there will always be another time mate. YER STARTING F^%$&EN C^&%T F^%$#ING ISSUES. hahaha but it was a good night. The van did do pretty well on its first time out CONSIDERING it is a huge house brick. And the nut behind the wheel is still trying to sort out how to get it off the line properly. 1st run; 12,377 @ 109 mph Not to shabby but it still had heaps in it i thought. now to think back about what i just did and better it...Hmmmmmmm R/T .694 (not to bad for and old C&^%T that has only done this once before).60 ft 2.356 OK there is the problem Getting it off the line.I knew i would have a drama at this point because i can't keep it steady enough on the line to launch it. So bugger it lets just start to have some runs and some fun . 2nd run; 12.117 @ 120.9 mph R/T .126 60 ft 2.212 Hmmmmmmmm well my misses is right the more i get used to it my R/T's do seem to drop a bit.hahahahahahaha By this stage the vains in my neck are pumpin and all i want to do is get as many runs in as possible. I decided to park the van for a bit to cool every thing down and that is when the problems F%^&*EN started it would start and allow it to rev then turn it off get all my gear back on and the bastard wouldn't start again. "O" well leave it alone and see how the other guys are going after a few phone calls i got hold of my tuner and he put his finger on the fault straight away Just by knowing what lights were flashing on the front of the ECU .so that stopped every thing for me for the night. Paul was nice enough to let me shread some more rubber off his new tyres and i think i was able to drop a little bit of time off his times BUT NOT MUCH. then it was time to go and take the car to the tuner and get the hire trailer back before i had to pay more f^%$en money out These hire joints charge you by the bloody hour now days it used to be by the day So coming back from the tuners i blow a rear tyre on the soarer and had to change that in the rain (but i got the trailer back in time). it is by this time midnight and i sit down with a coffee and think F^%K yer this is what its all about i had a great night and with Paul and Dan it made it even better. |

| Had heaps of fun last night, it was great to check out some other Soarers. Best time of the night for my car was 14.7 sec @ 94.6 mph, big thanks to my co-pilot Matt. Here is a video I put together of two skids in my car. The first skid is starting in 2nd gear and it gets going with two wheels no worries, not bad. The second skid we were going for a 3rd gear start, didn't go so well car bogged down before coming on boost and then after a restart it only managed to peel one wheel. Time for a new diff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsyVbq9HfWY |
