Half the problem is there are too many people in the country not being suited to driving, same goes here in NZ too which has even more dangerous roads.
It is scary. I don't even like doing open road drives because of how bad some other drivers are out there through 'peak' times of the year.
The Police are being over enthusiastic once again, if punishments where harder from day one, and it was HARDER to get a licence then the issue would be much, much smaller. No more need for these pathetic crack down blitz

I didn't see jack? Took a drive down to Philip Island and saw no cops at all. I did see however a dog of a cop rock up at a DC2 Integra meet up on Sunshine Ave only to drive down 500m on the side of the road and pull out his radar gun! What a dog!

Yea, cops out here are bastards. I got pulled over and they tried the "its too low" crap on me. It's about 2 inches above legal! They try to get any car they don't like off the road for the smallest thing. They said its illegal to have a boost controller in the car, NOT CONNECTED its still illegal? Yea right, I think someone needs to go back and RTFM again!.
