Spotted an electric blue soarer out front of a mechanical workshop in the city this week had skyline rims on it? I think it may be one that sold just recently?? Looked cool anyway...

There is a blue soarer getting repainted/fixed or something at a paint shop next to Sprints Auto on Main North down at Enfield. My mate works at Sprints and he reckons its a chop shop so if your buying a electric blue Soarer in a month have a proper look at it just encase.

Yeah I don't want the Soarer reputation ruined! People need to learn how to do up cars, there is a clean look (what I am going for - nice height, nice rims and nice exhaust, not over the top) and then there is the mean look (nice dished/offset wheels, nice body kit - no crappy ones with pieces of marterials going in each direction and a nice paint job) 1. Keep your car in good condition, clean it reguarly so the paint doesn't fade and turn crap 2. Polish once or twice a year to make her shiny. 3. Make good decisions on modifications!!! That's my 2 cents hah.

I couldn't agree more. The problem is though you get others which are delusional to how to modify a car and improve upon what they have, instead they go about spending money to cheapen and devalue their car! Madness! So for instance with Soarers you get far too many that have been utterly ruined, ruining their reputation as decent quality Japanese cars. If you criticise their wrecked car they just winge about that being your opinion and 'each to their own'... all that BS.... it just reflects how blatantly delusional they are! In the past I have started many arguments about different members terrible modifications. You can't win, but as long as you make your own Soarer decent that is all that matters.

So Cristian your saying because you think my rims are ugly your going to hunt my car down and make it look good ie. buy me some new rims. go for it If i had the cash it would have a set of work LS on it, but that's not the case (UNI) I do agree with your last post Cristian I Mike has some good points most I agree with, I get positive comments weekly out and about, hardly delusional.

Your wheels are still horrid though. If they were so fantastic looking why don't all new Aston Martins, BMWs, Mercdes Benzs, Audis, Lexus' etc have those kinda of wheels? It's because they are 'ghetto' and appeal to a tiny percentage of car 'enthusiasts' which are more posers than anything else. You cant argue. They don't suit the car from a design perspective so never will, period. Even the dated stock 15" wire style alloys are more aesthetically pleasing. Still, at the end of the day I suppose it matters if you like them, but to most people seeing you drive by they will think to themselves 'what a wanker'. If I was in my Soarer and saw your car go past I would look away with a cringe in disgust. I could go on and on, I find it a personal insult when Soarers are molestered in an undignified manner. |
