Costa champ all I know is it's:
1991 UZZ31

Alternator Toyota part number is : 27060-50040
- 120A
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1991_TOYOTA_SOARER_UZZ31-ACPZK_1903.html

on that website it's the exact one if it helps. But if you could possibly track one down for me I'm looking at getting a new one I'd be more than happy to come pick it up off you and fit it myself. Hopefully I find one asap it's the daily driver and public transport is a big no no.

By the way Tash don't feel too bad we live and learn I just join the club 2 nights ago. My daily driver (Sc400) was out of commission bloody alternator. So had to go to my old mans joint and steal his mid life crisis pride a joy an Audi RS4, and just couldn't help myself. Got done speeding on the Monash at 134km/h (luckly I had slowed down for the exit) in a 100k zone loss 4 points and suspended for 1 month at a whopping $380. Guess I'd be driving very carefully for a month.

Yeh unfortunatly I was over the limit so much that it resulted in a 6 month suspension of my license. I think thats 6points as well. Yeh i guess everyone makes mistakes, and i will learn from mine.

Costa champ I fixed the alternator it was just the wires had a build up of crap which was restricting the charge. Now it works better than ever. Thanks for your help though mate. Bloody hell if I'd only checked it on Friday I would have been on the cruise ahhhh well next time for sure.

Hey James, his rear subframe was 100% f.ucked :-) LUCKY there was no damage to the front pins and chassis - this why soarers are so good! He got the car back over a week ago, I can tell he loves it to death :-)

I've lent 2 stocky wheels so he could have the car rolling as the supra rim was damaged beyond repair. Everything now not bent and straight as, with a strong handbrake :-)

Richard: Good fix, I'll keep that in mind next time if a customer has the same problem :-)

Natasha: Give those lawyers I mentioned an email/post on their forum. It is free and they will hel you. If you pay the fine - you have admitted guilt and cannot contest it in court. The Lawyer got a motorbike off in fernshaw (where the cops are located with their speed trap) doing around 178km/h. Free advice and online by a traffic lawyer - you have nothing to loose, but your license! Give it a try!
