Wow, what a day. First of all, Richard mate - I hope you're doing alright. My thoughts are with you at this time. I hope for your sake you can get her fixed up and back to it's former glory. It looked pretty scary when I came up close and saw the extent of the damage.
Whats the next step of the process, and where do we go from here? insurance? searching for a second hand rear sub-frame? Fitment, and then body work, and new wheels and tyres.

Thanks James, Im just going to look at the bright side of this and know it's going to look mint once the car is all fixed up.
Well it's looking like a claim job not sure yet. I tried looking for a new car last night and today but nothing comes close to the looks of a Soarer and it's hard to find something in place of one.
Anyone know the fine print with claims, I've ot the after market air bag system but it's running on the stock airbags, and I haven't ticked that box on the insurnce form so would they still cover it or would they not touch it. I'm with just cars.
Thing is I can pull the tank out in 10mins and I doubt they can work it out seeing it looks stock unless you know it's there.
Ill photo shop and fire up some wheels and get a vote.
Chuck up some photos of the damage, or PM me if you dont want them on the forum, im keen to see what happened. Go through the insurance route, is there enough damage that it will be written off?

Nope not the end of the tail light mod, by the looks of things it doesn't too bad I don't know if they will want to fix it or not. My mechanic said from the photos it doesn't look like a write off but I'll know for sure tomorrow.

Mmmm. All will be known by tomorrow but When my dad went down today he said it's not as bad as it looks, so I'll get the full assesment tomorrow, might get high flow cats and maybe extractors go for broke i reckon, seeing it's going to be in the shop for a while.

Well the stauts of the car is it are the mech made a claim with just cars so all it is now is waiting for quotes and the chap form just cars to go have a look at it and things will start rolling.
Thing is i told them about the rims and they weren't listed on the policy they just asked how much etc. and i am assuming they will cover it or maybe just make a note not to cover the wheels haha

Don't pull them off yet Ken I'll either wait till i go pick the car up and pull mine off at the same time or when they are respraying it ill tell them to keep the badges off and get them spraied, this way I reckon at most we would only have to wait a day or two.
