I got a really nice old Crown a Celsior and a Soarer. But there is only 1 of me to drive :-(

And I would definitely be asleep at that time on a Sunday, or if I am awake, Im at a buffet breaky haha.

I always miss out on these cruises

Right Did the drive today, not a bad run... a little different to our usual haunts but still a great drive through the country side.

There is a 5km stretch of dirt road though but it was not a problem even in my painfully stiff suspension Starlet so you Soarer lads will love it.

A little bumpy in some places but again , very managable.

Im looking forward to it.

Dave Tra: My soarer is boring you wouldnt wanna drive it, take my crown :-) least its got something unique going for it.

A dirt road on a cruise with luxury/sports cars.

I don't even pull off the road onto gravel sections as I dont want rock getting stuck in my tires and coming flying out when you next speed up.

Anal as, I know but yea :-) Thats what soarer/celsior owner ship should be about haha.

dirt roads don't faze my soarer. its been through worse. lol although the dust and dirt on black paint is a major pain!

Fair call David, but as mentioned this road is not some crappy dirt road with potholes etc, its pretty good nick actually.

So I'll stick to my plan of hitting the dirt road - it actually takes us over a part of a range and has some amazing views.

Obviously I would recommend everyone in the convoy travels at a safe speed and tries not to get too carried and show off their super Dirt-Drifting style. Whether or not you take my advise if your decision haha.

Yup - we should take some pics of our cars afterwards haha. Mine still has bug spatters on the front bar and a huge grasshopper jammed in my cooler.

Its not really even worth mentioning, its a 3km stretch or so (from memory) and nice graded dirt road.

But if people are going to be frightened off by it I am happy to change up that route a little. Just may have to figure it out on the day.

I will look into changing up the route a little this week so we can avoid the dreaded dirt road.
