there is going to be a cruise to Adelaide River tomorrow (Sunday the 26Th of September) meeting at truck city at 10am heading of at around 10.30am and going on to Adelaide River pub. sorry about the late notice i only found out about the cruise last night myself. |

Weekend before should be a Hidden Valley Track day, and before that is Bathurst. This is a busy time of the year in the church of motorsport. |

I didn't think that there was anything on this weekend down hidden valley. But will be up for a meet if it is in the arvo as I got work all weekend. OH and anyone own or know who owns a white soarer with black 5 spoke rims that has been park on whitington circut in gunn. i live on the street and it has been there for like the past 2 weeks |

There is a NAMSC drift and drive style day on Sunday. I have the regs and the entry form. If anyone is interested I'll email them to you. (unless Peter tells me there is a way of posting them here -about 10 pages in all).
Starts around 9am and will run into the arvo. Costs about $50 odd to enter, unsure of cost for non members.
I will have the Track car down there. It might be my last time. I haven't made any changes, but I would love to crack the 1:23 barrier. |

Hey Ben,
Either way I'll make it down there this weekend I reckon.
Don't think I'll be able to put the 32 on the track though, will depend on what parts turn up this week and how much time I have fitting it all. What are the rules regarding unregistered vehicles?
To have a bit of a meet, I'll be there in the 32 for sure regardless. |

This is Darwin. There are no rules. They will just have a look over your car to make sure it is safe. No bits that will fall off, leak, or catch fire.
I'll have another look at the regs and see if there is anything peculiar.
3pm: it will probably start to wrap up around then. This is also the time when some of the silly stuff happens, like blokes going out in the drift class to see if they can. Ole matey getting permission to take his car out for one or two laps. They are pretty loose, as long as there are no f---wits. |

Just had a look at the regs- there isn't anything there.
Cleanup is on the program from 4pm, with a couple of sessions between 3 and 4.
I am trying to remember if you need a fire extinguisher in your car for registered cars. I think you might, but seeing as this is advertised as a 'fun day' and not a competition weekend I can't be sure. |

Breaking News
Just received an email that the track day is cancelled due to lack of entries.
I am still heading down there at 1000 on Sunday for a private test session. There will be a limited number of cars on the track (not as many as a proper meet) and I doubt there will be any refreshments and food available for sale.
The gates should still be open if people want to come and say hi, or have a look around watch some cars go round the track. |

I'd assume the track access will be controlled, and subject to how many are there, and Wayne's mood at the time (he is accepting liability for your driving essentially).
You mean I might have to clean the car as well as prep it? Damn. Time to put the bourbon down and go outside... |

Fair enough, I've been a bit slack, I should have sorted my membership by now, maybe I can do that Sunday?

Bugger it. I did half the roof, a third of the boot, and part of the bonnet before I lost interest.
Yeah it is Sunday. I just got heaps to do.
You might be able to sort membership down there depending on who from the club is there. A motorkhana is a better bet as Laurie and a few others are always there. |
