Ok, as there has been a lot of discussion on the last cruise thread in the last few days about having another cruise soon I though I would start a new one here!
So far a few of us have thrown up the idea of doing something a little different for a change and having a hills run through to York with a stop or two along the way, possibly Mundaring weir and having a bbq in York when we arrive there.
this thread atm is just to see how many people are interested. If anyone wishes to contribute ideas that's fine.
I unfortunately will not have time to organise a map on the holidays as I will be rather busy but if anyone wants to put there hand up and organise a map your more than welcome! 
Anyways throw your ideas up here then maybe we can start a list or something with suitable dates, meet points, stops etc .... cheers Davo |

If you're keen for hills, have the meetpoint in armadale and head north from there, go from albany highway onto canning dam/mcness/croyden/canning rd then onto the weir from there, its like 50~km of hills, and theres some AWESOME roads along that route |

Aim for late Jan, or early Feb I reckon. It'll be a day cruise, so I don't think hardcore hill action should be done because theres still a bit of traffic.
Austen, I think everyones busy with Christmas and New Years. Forums have been real slow. |

good to see some more interest :-) just a note guys heard on the radio this morning that double demerits take affect from today till 9th January so we might as well look towards end of jan possibly early feb like Chris mentioned. |

How about mid Jan after the 12th for Shaydan. Scared someone will buy my black manual vvti before then and then Ill have to look at everyones rear lights in my v8 |

woooot i live about 2 minutes from the brookton hwy and just drove that way a few days ago - great winding drive
definitely in for this one well ....
as long as it doesn't fall around the time that I am moving house - finally sold last week so hopefully settlement is around 4 weeks time.
if we get a chance to move on that weekend, I will be out .....  |

If i ever get a turbo for my v8 (which i probably won't) i'll show you straight six engine guys how fast a v8 goes haha. ahhhh but that will never happen

Yes i do love the sound of my 1uz hehe.
I think that the only people who could make up a map are the ones that have driven to York and had some experience with the roads, otherwise we're all going to end up lost, most of us will get to the destination, then we'll have a call saying half the group is in Geraldton.
Who has been to york and knows the road? And also has time to go onto google maps or something and pick a route? |

We could go from Armadale Shopping Centre down Albany Hwy to Canning Dam then via McNess, Croyden, Canning, Glenisla, Walnut, Lockwood and Mudaring Weir Rds to Great Eastern Hwy then to York. It's about 138ks to York via this route. On the way back would be a lot less if we stick to the main roads. |

I spoke to Rogan about it, he said he can't get his licence until the 15th which is a saturday, also he needs new hoses for his power steering, anyone got prices? |
