Ok Guys,
We just rang The motorplex and they are open for racing but they are expecting rain. CCCWA have cancelled the lane as there is much point paying to race in the wet.
Sorry guys but to be honest I don't think it would of been a good night for it anyway. They want to reschedule ASAP so let us know when is cool for you guys. I am no good for next Wednesday but they are so if you want me to organise it for you guys next week we can. Otherwise we have a few months left of the season we can arrange a date for.
Obviously if you guys still want to go down to race you can go for it, There just won't be a private lane.
Sorry guys if this seems rushed I am typing it out on my computer at work before I leave for the day, I'll answer any questions when I get home

well I'm obviously the only soarer that went along hahaa
totally worth it though! only about 40 cars rocked up so I got 11 runs! usually only get 5 at the most!
downside is it was all canned by 8:30pm when the rain started - but 2 and 1/2 hrs of racing - almost constant - I had a run every 10-15mins - and i was in lane 7 by myself for a while till a nice M5 joined me and started doing 12.6 stock - lol
We had a run together at one stage and he left power mode off - 300kw only (only!) and i left him for dead - so he went "screw this" and hit power button half way down and caught me at the end - I felt pretty good about that - little 2.5L 6 beating a V10 in safe mode.
There was a MarkII with a 1JZ transplant doing almost identical times to me, so that was good comparison, and a guy with a stock XR6 got reaction of .001 so I think he won the prize for the night Best I could get was .056 which I was happy with, wasn't really racing the green light anyway.
Bad news is the conditions were not really good for racing - humidity 84% and I only managed 14's! Started at 14.4 and got down to 14.0's but it just didn't have the power it normally does, and considering I did a 13.88 with boost cut 2 years ago, I was hoping for a mid 13 but there was no chance.
So I'm really looking forward to another night later this year - hopefully lower humidity and better times, but that means busier haha
I was paired with a Cefiro a few times that was doing 11.2's .... freakin aye ... had a worked RB26 which explained that one, and an EVO X only managing 14.0's but I don't think they were hitting it too hard ...
Old Celica with a 2J was doing 10's - and on one run it lost traction 3/4 down the strip and totally went sideways - I thought it was going into the wall but he caught it and only just clipped the rear quarter on the other side of the track! the other car was considerably slower so he braked early and got out of the way, but its never good seeing a car sideways that far down the track, considering the speed it was doing what a trooper though - he came back ou and did another 10 sec pass - serious respect there
