Hey Guys,
I'm looking at going to the Winton Fun Day rain hail or shine on Sat 288th Jan/
Cost is $35 to drive all day in 20-25m heats at 80% capacity. Passenger's are $35 as well. Schedule is 30 mins of driver only and 30 mins of passenger and driver rides running throughout the day.
This is not a track day, but a day where you can test and tune your suspension, enjoy driving your car pretty fast without losing your license!
Al you will need to wear long sleeve cotton / wool clothes eg: Jeans and a long sleeve top and a Helmet. This applies to driver and passenger
SO who's down? Let's have a mini cruise and have some Fun over 100km/h. My top speed was around 200km/h.

No skidpan, no drifting, just a mega meet full of mixed cars so you can have a great time.
Some of the supercharged holden's are pretty damn quick!
I was keeping up with a BA 5.4 Supersupergarged Cobra - His lowdown torqued countered my turbo lag well, but I was gaining on him in the straights - certainly wasn't getting away that's for sure!
Going back with a minimum 350rwkw on 18psi T04Z, 380rwkw on 22psi and a lot of cooling mods / ducting to keep temps down  |

Sweet, I'll organize the meet up point about 2 weeks before the event.
I'm considering the meet point to be at the workshop in Williamstown at this stage as we can jump on the freeway and head up through the western ring road so the trip is freeway all the way and zero tolls. |

If I was not going on my mega fishing trip of the year I'd go to Winton and get the tattoo on the day as well!

Khalid, come down mate - keen to see your setup!
I'll be there in the Supra w/T04Z and Full Slicks.
I don't Think I'll have my Bushes and Vipec in by then but I'll try to tune the PFC for 18psi and make around 350rwkw |

Was a really fun day that's for sure! Supra did well, current tune is 320rwkw on 17ish psi - mega exhaust manifold leak before and after turbo when it was tuned. Very over the current setup so I'm back to driving the soarer daily while the Supra gets a heap of work done for the next track day
Changing to a 6 boost setup soon (cbf making my own - takes too long!) that will be compatible with my GT51R, T04Z and GT35 with T4 Rear flange.
4" Exhaust upgrade + boost + vipec + antilag should make it a competitive car despite having a big single.
We'll see! |

How the hell do you get a track day for $35????
Basic practice days at Mallala cost a hundred bucks, Wakey was nearly $200 a few years ago. Even Hidden Valley was $50 for practice (but you did get a powered shed for that)
