Hey guys,
As the post states i'm in the middle of doing some serious thinking about moving up to Adelaide. I just got back yesterday from a trip up there and loved that i saw soo many soarers still cruising the streets.
Currently looking into prospective jobs up there around the Underdale area (even though i know you can get accross adealide from one side to another in 30 mins) i would love to meet some of the soarer members up there if any one is keen and get to know some people and it would be nice knowing that if i were to bring my baby up with me she could roam the streets with some of her own kind!
I'm back in town (Adelaide) on the 26th of Jan for the long w/e so any one that is up for it feel free to send me a msg for a catch up!

I don't roam the streets, but if you find yourself way out north feel free to drop in park your car with some of her kind, LOL.
Seriously though, no idea what I am doing that weekend. I haven't figured out tomorrow yet... |

Ben neither do I but im sure my soarer will get some sort of transformers feeling one night and park herself next to one of the other soarers i saw up there haha but thanks for that mate will keep it in mind.
Dave haven't lost a bet ... yet hehe but yeh that would be great mate i don't know if ill be able to take her up this trip as shes in and out of the workshop atm but would still be up for a meet! |

Hey guys. I've owed a JZZ20 for quite some time, but have since stripped it and bought a JZZ30 (dad also got a UZZ30 haha). I'm off work on the weekend of 28th and 29th Jan. I'd be keen for a bit of an SA Soarer meet. |

Hey Ryan,
Don't go too crazy doing a full rebuild on that motor, that is very common, I would be cleaning it up and flushing it multiple times with cheap oil and flushing agent. Give me a buzz if you want any further info, as I mentioned in your other thread I have had this exact problem and regret doing a full rebuild and it was too late by the time we stripped it down.
I just regod my soarer so I'm up for cruises on any sunday  |

How about a meet up at Harbourtown? Big enough car park, only downside for me is it's close to Glenelg and I'm not keen on any unwanted police inspections  |

Having said that I'm happy with whatever, if it's too much of a risk I will just drive down in the commo to say hello.
Any other sugestions on time and place, if your thinking cruise then we would need a route too. Christians was pretty good. |

Nah, Glenelg will be fine. Plus I'll give a thumbs up to Harbourtown cos it's all of about 60 seconds from my house haha. But I'm happy with anywhere. On a Stagea cruise we once met at Firle carpark and went up through the hills. I cant remember the route though. |

Car park of LeCornu? Fairly central for all parties. Unless someone has a better place
Im happy with any time, but some may prefer morning or arvo.
Maybe head from there, up Greenhill Rd, Glen Osmond Rd, then along the freeway and head to Hahndorf for lunch?
If we do another run, we can always change the meet place and route to suit people as required. |

How does this sound?
A) Meet and greet at say 8.00am, leave 8.30am sharp.
B) Breakfast at 'The Place Next Door' at about 9.30am.
D) Stop off, rest, meet, etc etc
E) Lunch etc at 'Vilis Cafe' around about 12ish.
Just an idea

Was a good run, even though it was only the 3 of us and only 2 cars
Thanks to Dave and Peter for coming out. Initial run was a bit quick and short, so ended up going from Hahndorf, back up through Nairne, Woodside, Lobethal, Cudlee Creek, and back out at Athelstone. |
