Lots of Soarer activities eg cruises, lunches etc run by smog's Tasmanian Chapter..hence smogtc......contact infosoarer@gmail.com or look up their forum.....google smog soarer and it is the mff version.....the original is being dropped... |

If you can I highly recommend you pay the $150 to get the roadworthy inspection done BEFORE you get the car.
I learned the hard way and spend a grand. Not to bothered that it needed stuff done, but it would have been nice to use that as negotiating power when I was handing over the cash.
Either that or an RACV check, I buyer had one done when I was selling my old Falcon. They are very thorough, although it costs twice as much as a roadworthy certificate so go figure. |

Natasha - Try to get the rwc done before paying for the car.
The Soarer I just bought, then rwc ended up costing me $680 for new rubber If I'd known I needed three new tyres, I could've got the price down. Though, I did only pay $2500 for a mint '91 TT with only 187000kms  |

yeah my car is in good shape to drive down
the paints the worst though
no idea what the previous owner tried
but a grand for a 180000km 1992 gtt-l

BTW, the turn off to Drouin off the freeway is the C102, then go along Princes Way to Hope St....Pulse Cafe and Pizza is there....the Coles car park is. To the left along Hope st.....park where you can..... |

I think it would be very difficult to get a car park there. Near the train station or further up near the car wash would be the best locations. |

Parking location shouldn't be a problem. there are many large off street carparks in the middle of town.
I plan to head down half an hour earlier and scope out the best spot, then I can TXT the exact spot to anyone who wants to know, including the lead cars from the Melbourne so they can lead the rest.
The first choice for parking will be along Young street North east of Pulse cafe. If that is too full or not suitable on the day I'll scope out some others and TXT through the change.
