I blew my 1JZ last year, and purchased an Aristo 2JZGTE front cut from Japan and installed it in my car with 100,000km on it.

Mod List

1995 Toyota Soarer GTT-L (Luxury Spec)
Stock 2JZGTE Aristo Engine
Stock 2JZGTE Aristo Twin Turbos (Ceramic) running Sequential
Stock Aristo Gearbox

Full Exhaust 3 inch into twin 2.5 inch exhaust
Plazmaman Intercooler
Custom Air Box with K&N Pod Filter
TSI/Powermod Piggyback ECU
MV Autos Stage 1 Shift Kit.
Turbosmart EBoost2 Boost Controller set to 19psi boost

Power = Mainline Dyno - 265RWKW
Dyno Dynamics - 292RWKW

Race Weight = 1775 kgs including driver

Got 4 runs in on Sunday at WSID my times were 12.5, 12.4, 12.4 and new PB of
12.36@115.3mph
Very happy with my time as I raced the car as I drive it on the street.
My First turbo boost to 15psi before 3000rpm and spikes up to around 20psi when the 2nd turbo comes on. Very responsive setup for the street.

Running Falken 452 street tyres on 17 inch rims (235/45) fronts and (275/40) rears.

Is your TT really that heavy, hate to think what my limited V8 weighs when I go to the track, usually a boot full of crap and 3/4 of tank of fuel, my best time so far has been a 12.91.

Thanks Paul. Yeah I race it as I drive it on the street dont change it at all, had 3/4 tank of gas, full interior, take nothing out still has the spare in it.

I have a 95 Soarer with a Sunroof and now with the 2JZ running gear the weight has gone up. It use to be around 1625 kgs on the weighbridge in scrutineering (left lane) but now with the bigger engine it has gone up around 50 kilos.

Very impressive 12.91 in a V8 Soarer. What mods do you have.

There was a white Soarer V8 Supercharged there with me and he was running low 12's. He said he had 419RWKW it has a built V8 4L with Harrop Supercharger and a 3 stage NOS setup as well as drag slicks. It was pretty awesome. :-)

Now all I need is MT's to launch this thing properly cut a 1.6 60ft and go for 11's full weight :-)

Hope to see you at WSID Paul it will be good to see other Soarers there now that Daniel Clarke has got sick of blowing us all away in his car lol :-)

I was down from brissy a bit over 12 months ago and met you at WSID for a t and t, but it was to wet and was cancelled, Maroon Soarer, Whipple Supercharger and water meth and some supporting mods.

one day I will get back, but it could a while away.

Christian , bring rpm up on footbrake , and the. Watch boost guage . Try leaving on 5psi boost . Then if traction is good , feed a
Little more throttle next time and a little more boost , so 7psi .

You will find the threshold of your tyres eventually . Turbo cars require boost to leave the line well . Not just rpm :-)
