Just got back from racing from Jamboree had a good time. Got a new best time of 12.17@118.2 mph with a slow 1.85 60 foot. Car ran well got four 118mph and one 119mph. Still running stock 2JZGTE engine, stock ceramic turbos, stock gearbox. Full street trim race weight of 1740kgs. Got all the way to the semifinals in street compact first time doing bracket racing. Next mod is front brake pads. Couldn't hold the car on the line it always crept forward. Car has the potential to run an 11 full weight just need to work on the launch. Car is running strong and everything held together well. Thanks to Paden my mechanic/tuner for all his hard work, and Daniel Clarke for all the advice and help

Hi boris. I have a stock engine, stock ceramic turbos, stock auto gearbox. Mods are full exhaust stock dumps, intercooler, pod filter with air box, piggyback ecu tuned, stage 1 mv's shift kit that's it. Have got 267rwkw on a mainline dyno and 292rwkw on a dyno dynamics run just under 20psi. Very happy might with the 118mph just need to practice a bit more and get it off the line a bit better to run the 11s I want full street trim full weight.
Nice work Manual. I cant wait to get mine tuned and to the track here in Adelaide. You guys have got it good, our track never has street meets that actually happen... Did you get any videos of your runs???

Thanks for the kind words. I did get some videos from an iPhone. Christian Perez got one of the passes on a hd camera from the stands. Not sure which pass he got. He said he will put it up on here soon.

hi boris. No has the standard stall of a stock Aristo auto box of 2200rpm. when I had my 1j I think it had a 2700rpm stock stall and use to launch so much harder back then. It's only thing holding me back to launch it hard. Need to find a way to get it off the line that tiny bit better on the stock stall. Will work it out.
Your getting good Times still for a Stock Stall that's why I asked. I plan to run my 2JZ Behind a 1JZ Converter and 1JZ Box.... so it turns out with a 2JZ Converter the Stall is lower all the more reason I was thinking to stay with 1JZ box, still undecided.

yes you will definitely get more revs with the 1J converter. When I had the 1j I was able to stall it up past 3200rpm on the stock stall. The disadvantage with the sequential turbos is the 2nd turbo comes in just before 4000rpm. So in the 2j one little turbo is trying to get off the line. With the 1j turbos you have both turbos spooling off the line. I got 1.79 60 footers like 4 times in a row when I had the 1j on kumho street rubber. With the 2j best 60 ft on street tyres is 1.90 with the MT's 1.85
You could make some sort of switch for Launching to get it into Parallel mode perhaps that's an interesting point i'd be keen to know how much of a difference it might make.

that is being do next a switch to jp between parallel and sequential. There's also another thing my tuner is thinking of doing to get more boost off the line but its never been done before

Make the 2nd turbo spool with the 1st at 2000rpm instead of 4000rpm. Basically trick the ecu. If he makes it happen I'm sure he will it is Paden the car might rocket off the line.
