Yeah I know Dave but I also know where Michael is coming from as most people that are members on here use Facebook these days...and each state pretty much has its own Soarer Club page now...
I guess its because its much easier and quicker to get responses back from other members regarding cruises and events as what it is on here as everyone is online sometime or another during the day/night on facebook, I know its been easier for myself to see who's interested in a cruise map I have organised in the recent past by the responses I got on the Soarer WA page for eg... plus you receive notifications instantly if someone posts on the facebook page when your online. Not trying to take anything away from this great forum...but just seems to be the trend these days when organising events/cruises. I will still continue to post in the WA events section on here if I ever organise another event or cruise in the future.

I have never had a facebook profile. I don't feel the need to have anyone know my business, and couldn't care less about everyone elses day to day events. I ring my friends, or go to see them.
I also don't generally 'cruise' without there being some event at the end of it.

You really dont want to know the times and frequencies of your friends toilet schedules or who's head ache is worse day to day Ben??? We generally have a meet up and or Bbq/buy lunch before then go for a drive... Your knowledge and input would be handy if you ever feel like coming along to one

I am with Ben on this one. If I have to resort to faceless book to communicate with people, its time to get off the planet. Each to their own, but I check out this site at least 2 times a day.
