Here's a copy of the invite for those that may not be on Facebook:
Join us for our 1st joint NSW and QLD soarer BBQ meetup in South West Rocks, NSW!
QLD will be having a premeet at Springwood McDonalds - 35/41 Springwood Road, Springwood QLD 4127 starting at 9:30am and to LEAVE AT 10AM - and then a long cruise to South West Rocks NSW.
NSW will be having a premeet at Waitara McDonalds - 140/146 Pacific Highway, Waitara NSW 2077 starting at 9:30am and to LEAVE AT 10AM, then drive on to pacific highway and meet up with any Newcastle people.
The drive itself is around 5-6 hours in either direction (Syd or Brizzy) so we will be having stops along the way.
Once there we will be meeting up with a bunch of other Soarers from around the area and then have a BBQ, group photos and activities.
There will be trophies for: - best interior - best wheels/fitment - best paint - best engine bay - best car at meet
All winners will be voted by us - the members. Written on a piece of paper, thrown in a hat and drawn out at the end of the event. There will be other stuff as well during the meet eg. Car limbo!
Each attendee (not car) is asked for a $7 contribution on arrival. This is to strictly cover: - BBQ food (rolls, sausages, steaks, sauce, salad, soft drinks) - Trophies for each of the 5 categories
Some IMPORTANT rules regarding the cruise:
Absolutely the following wont be allowed and you'll be dropped from the group cruise:
- No speeding - No burnouts - No erratic driving (diving in between cars, driving too close etc)
As this is a long drive we want this to be safe and not draw attention to the boys in blue.
Please all share and this event to other Soarer owners/pages but note this is not limited to only Soarers as Celsiors/Crowns and other Jap JDM cars of the same era is encouraged to attend and all people (all works of life) from all areas of Australia are encouraged to attend.
Hopefully we can all make this one of the biggest Soarer meets of recent times.
Any questions feel free to Inbox myself (Dante Meneguz) for NSW people or Anthony Ferguson for QLD people.

So Glad it was posted up here due to the fact that I deactivated my FB page long ago due to it becoming a silly place to hang out. I find G+ a much better place to hang out.
