According to the schedule, the race should be finishing around 2:45pm, so allow for the stragglers and if we leave from 4:00pm onwards we should be OK. http://www.tourdownunder.com.au/2006/index.php?id=stages/stage4a Or we could take a scenic route and stay off the main VH road altogether.

I have answered my own question,- The Tour Down Under IS in the South that day, but...they should be finished by 2.45 at Willunga, so that should be out of the way.....Also I agree with you again Luke, driving should be done only in a car.....the reason golf is called golf is the word for was already in use!!

I play Chinese Golf, which is called Wak Ah F*k It's lucky I don't do Chinese Skydiving though..... (Ah F*k Wak for those that can't work it out)...... Ok, golf on a seperate day. I'll start a thread for that later. 4pm at the Flagstaff works for me. Rob, the Flagstaff is about 40 mins drive from Victor, so it may be best to meet you there? Depending on where you're starting from that is.

I think we will leave the city around 4, so arrive in VH more like 5:00pm, else we may have problems with the bike race.

I wont know if I can make it until Friday due to work commitments, but due to the bike race has anyone booked the crown or anywhere else for a meal? I would think VH would still be loaded with people after the race and the pub's will be full due to the up-coming weather.

Rob are you set on Victor? It's a loooong way for me and I can't get enough time now(due to late work appt.) to get all the way there...bugga, but if you were coming into Adelaide itself there are a thousand places within easy reach for a meal/drinks. we could even do a quick squirt up to Mt Lofty and drink/eat a the pub in Stirling or quick blast to the German Arms at Hahndorf, sorry to look like a hijacker but there may be more who have less time like me. I'm easy about it though.....ps where's Scotty???.........................pps Oh Look I'm a Try Hard now!!!

OK, Crown hotel can feed us, but we should book. Numbers? Rob Hayden & Suzie Gary Morris Peter Scott & Jade Peter Nitschke & Debra Ken Bruns? Johhny James? Craig Moore? Luke Bressington? Kris Antczak? Adam Foster? Clayton Webb? Any more? How about I book for 7:00pm. Failing anything else, we could meet at my shop car park as most already know it (Rear of 56 King William Road, Goodwood) in time to leave at 4:00pm. Then pick up any from the South side of the city somewhere convenient around 4:15 - 4:30ish (Flagstaff Hotel that was already mentioned?). Aim to be in VH around 5:30, maybe a pleasant blat to Port Elliot and back then foodies for an hour or two, then an evening drive back home.
