Hi guys/gals,
well there has been a couple of little cruises being organised by a variety of people so i know that the interest is there.
The last cruise i went on was the "last minute doof doof ptch ptch cruise" and that was down the coast on a WED nite. We had a pretty decent turn out for a last minute thing. bout 10 soarers or so.
***** Proposal ****
Let's being by throwing some ideas around and we can try and figure out a run somewhere. I would love to play in the hills again... perhaps a trip out past dayboro , through the hills and to the sunny coast ?
But then again im happy to do another Wed nite ride as that was tops (especially the last bit home )
So get onboard people , start registering interest here.

hey..i LUURVE the beach !
I like the idea of bits of cruises here and there with a couple / few etc soarers, but im starting to think its been a while since we had a BIG crew together.
2 weeks may be a lil too soon to organise a larger run. But i may be keen to roll out on that one to lennox also (alot of freeway work tho)

yeah i was thinking maybe about 2 weeks after easter, theres a few different ways that we could get to lennox, you could go up mt. tamborine and then down over the borders through that way and then head to lennox, would be a decent cruise. just gettin the ppl is another thing. lol.

Er that type of speed sign does not mean there is no limit, it just means that the limited area you have just past has ended and that the default speed limit now applies.
Technical name for the sign is "speed derestriction sign"
Default speed limits are Built up area 50 Open highway 100

Lennox Heads is a good three hours driving each way, at least for me.
And I saw one of those signs near Mullumbimbi, with "100" written on the road. The road was pretty twisty but too narrow for any other traffic at speed, and in pretty poor condition.

I was thinking that maybe soonish we could head in the Sunshine Coast direction and go for lunch at a place similar to the Winery at Mt Tamborine that we went to. We got more numbers because the family guys got to bring their partners and kids with them. So we could have a look for a winery around that area or just a place out of the way that will cater for big numbers. I can organise it all, I don't mind. This time though I will do a better map If we make it for the end of May or start of June then that should give people enough time to sort themselves out.

Sorry Tai we already Mt Tamborine. Something like the Mt Tamborine one is what I was meaning. It would definetly be on a weekend too, usually a Sunday so that people that work Saturdays can come too.

Don’t do it in late May as that is when the drag day is going to be on and I really don’t want people piking as I have $$$ to sort out. Of interest also is that the All Toyota Day and the Winternationals are on the Queen’s Bday weekend which I think is the 12th so maybe the weekend after that would be good?
BTW North sounds good. I am not taking my Rona on a 800km drive. That would be about as many kms as it has done in the last year! :P

Sounds good. I am trying to get 13th May for drags now but Willowbank lady is taking ages to get back to me. So if you want to do it earlier you can. I know 27th is out. Giving it some time can be good though as you need time to prepare everything as well as letting everyone know. Going North right?
