AWWW! I just got back form sydney and picked the car up from the mechanic where she had a 2 day sleep over. Slicks are on! steel lines are in! new brake fluid! steering rack bushes changed, control arm bushes changed, i put new oil in and AT fluid.....
all so i can drive down to the bottle shop on the weekend..

Sunday looks like its gonna pour though - and hail as Avin says.
Would've been a good day for you Avin; in hindsight, you an me shoulda gone down for today with just YOU running. Would've been great practice for ya. Sorry mate - we shoulda thought of that, then next time, if it rains on Sat, you would have the required experience to run Sunday Only.

The semis are ABSOLUTELY FU*N AWESOME! i dont think they will last long though! how long you reckon o nteh street?
Even in teh wet yesterday they just kept hanging on round corners. oh and they are rubbing the guard slightly when i realy accelerate hard, teh back of the car squats down and the car lets out a groan (with back seats out its bloody loud) i am gonna get teh guards rolled. I will never go back to street tyres again if you can keep getting these babies!
I got home at 5am, so couldnt have done much today on the track, it was wet last night so couldnt have planned on it being dry. Hindsight is a pig.
no stress, i have to get the rear shocks sorted before i go on the track now. they are unsafe.
Like I said - keep 'em on; look after the rears and all will be well. I'll sort you another pair for the Front before June.
Just watch yourself in the Wet big fella, the window of adhesion is narrow - have respect for these tyres and know they have none for YOU - Be Careful.
