Saw a green Soarer pulling into Cafe 64 on Dowd St today at lunch. Woman in her 30's (I'm guessing) driving. Stock rims, so I'm guessing probably not on the forum.

Alright, I've never organised a cruise before but i'll give it a shot, any help would be much appreciated as i work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I'll get my UBD out this weekend and plan a route and see how i go.

Wow...that was easy.
Nice coastal views, minimal traffic lights and cop shops.

Yeah and not too long, long cruises are pointless.

Unless we head up into the hills/country for some real driving ^_^

Love that mundaring wier road!

Ill be down for sure either way.

There is another red Soarer of that colour in Perth Sam, on the forums as well ;)

There are a few red ones actually.

Oh! Hope the cruise is not the Sunday after Mother's Day as I will only get back on that evening. Can't believe I am going to miss another cruise.

At least I have my diary blocked off for AHG Soarer Driving Day on 8 July.

Matt Oswald is the only other red Soarer I've seen on the Forum and his isn't ribbon red, it's a darker shade...like red wine/burgundy/maroon.

There's another red one that was at the Hi Tech Titles.

Ben, been cruising before? Make sure to avoid overly complicated maps and make sure meet points will not be too difficult (cough mal cough concert hall cough perth arts festival cough).

Sam, a cruise along the coast sounds good. Im in for one. Im trying to plan a trip to Lancelin within the next few weeks for a camping trip. Staying in the caravan park with a couple for friends.

I spotted a light purple-like coloured Soarer doing laps around herdsman lake last nite at 10pm ish. Very weird colour under the street lights.

Ben; one idea for a cruise i have been thinking of arranging is to go...

Rolleystone -> Karagullen -> Pickering Brook -> Carmel -> Kalamunda -> Mundaring -> Home

Feel free to steal the idea ;)

Hmmm that does sound like a good cruise hey Callum, but i reckon that route would be more suited around the september/october periods, where its still cold but the rain is starting to cease. Driving through the windy kills with grey skies and crisp cold air being sucked up by our cars.

I said coastal purely on the fact that it would be a good cap off to the end of the warm weather and being coastal would make it a little easier to organise. Your thoughts ?? could maybe save your cruise for later in the year... more cruises the better hey ? :p

White TT with Lexus badges and exhaust stuck in traffic jam at end of freeway today at about 2pm.

Green TT or V8 not sure, gold Lexus badges, wheels, parked next to mine at Barbagallo Raceway. I almost got bogged in that bloody sand! Shouldn't have parked uphill on soft stuff, lucky to get out, was spining the tyres a fair bit "come on, just a little bit further..."

I'm keen for a cruise, how about we use the same map from the cruise we did in August last year, that was a good map with plenty of twisty roads.

that route sounds good, if you live up in that area... too far south for me. maybe something more central? coastal cruise sounds really good, seeing that winter is here, i wouldnt mind seeing what i can of the beach before rain starts to come

You only get stone chips if you follow too close behind someone... ;)
