Hey all, organising a time trial up the pacific hwy from berowra on june 18 to somersby bbq area. Its not a time trial based on speed, but skill as you get penalised if you get to the finish to quickly(id of done the run earlier doing the exact speed) and the faster cars get a time added on as a handicap. $5 bucks entry and the winner takes all. It probably sounds a little vague atm, but ive just got off a plane from syd to ny and my minds not thinking lol, i'll get off details when i get home, but yeah for now, just canvassing for interest

New Yorks awesome Yeah it is a beautiful drive. Ok basically, everyone would meet at thornliegh maccas at 1030am and drive to the berowra truck stop( or if you wish,you can go to the truck stop at 11am if you know where you are going).From there, each car would be let off at 5min intervals(once numbers are final,i'll give out a list of who goes when), this will be controlled by 1 of my club members.He will call me when the 1st car goes and ill start timing(ill be at the finish already),say it took me 30mins to get there(doin the eact speed limit) and you are the 2nd person to leave and it takes you 35 on my watch, your time is 30mins(minus 5min since you left 5 after the 1st car),etc,etc.The concept is pretty simple, if you catch up to someone or have someone behind you, then commonsense and courtesy obviously,let them pass if you know your holding someone up(slower or badder handling cars obviously) N e ways, i hope thats enough detail for now! im off to a yankees game

30mins was an example, basically the closer you get to my time the better. if you go under then you loose points on the theory that you must of been speeding. i think to make things easier, once i do the time ill tell everyone a time frame, eg 30-40 mins(i took for eg 32 min), that way theres margin for error and gives ppl a time frame to shoot for
