Got Jeff Hogan to help wire it up. Ran out of time really because of mother’s day and fiance’s bday tomorrow. I did turn the ignition on once and the fuel pump relay was ticking strangely so I am going to disconnect that first and see how that goes. I just used the original relay and fuel pump wiring that I had been using on the wolf so there shouldn’t be an issue. I just need to double check the grounds and the power for everything I think.
I will see how I go but I don’t really know if I will be ready or not yet?

I highly doubt it. I have got the car started once. I have no power to wideband or guages. I have to sort out all the other wiring mess. I have to get a camira air temp sensor. I have to work out why my water temp sensor is not reading correctly (already changed once). I have to get my grandpa to do my seat mounts as they are currently only bolted in on the front (nanna has been in hospital) and then after that I have to tune! Oh and I got a new boost controller so have to check that the thing works properly.
I can't see all that being done in 2 days when I am at work for most of that. I will go out in a couple of weeks though when I have tuned. I will be there in my snow gear as it is going to be beautiful and freezing! Can I drive your car? :D

weather looks awesome today! Thank god! last thing we'd need is rain. Last night amberley was down under 5 degrees, so tonight should be awesome!
I finally put the last touches on the engine bay last night, so apart from a spot of polishing she's done
I also found a small crack in one the silicon cooler joints, so i just covered it with the hose clamp and it looks to hold 14psi ok, we'll see tonight if it dies at 3/4 track with 18psi... lol!
If you see a black soarer dopped on its ass, come say hi!
yeah Christian you should crack the 12's easily! Cant wait to see what i can run.
cheers people and CYA There!

whats with the harleys! they all had 2 runs before i could even get one.
Now the exuses for my very poor efforts.
Run 1. - I had a 30kg tool kit in the back seat which i forgot to take out, so that might explain the sh!t result. On reviewing the video replay i think i backed off to early as well. and I also didnt stall it up enough.
I ran a red light so to speak, but i had massive wheelspin anyway so it really doesnt count.
I know i have a 60kg sub box with airbag equipment attached in the boot, so this would have slowed me down a bit, and after some h'way testing on the way home i worked out i was only pushing 14psi even though i tried to turn it up to 18psi
Well i dont know how to explain my sh!tty MPH and ET as the previous owner ran a 13.4 at 111mph with a slipping auto.
Ohh well. Time to buy a supra ahahaha
PS- i only saw a few cars out there, only a couple of soarers and a few cressida's. From what i saw they had great results! Christian, your car looked VERY fast, good work!

I will have full results up soon.
Ben: loved the air bag/hydraulics before the second run! Don't give up on the 1jz. Running quick times isn't as easy as people expect. Sort out the bugs and come back with a vengeance (in a couple of weeks when I can race you )
The car has an FMIC & cat back exhaust. The MPH i thought was quite good but the ET :S
Btw I think my spark plugs "may" be on the way out, it was a little hard to tell with having a helmet on and all (first time for that too) but it may have been missing riiight up top and i seemed to lose power as the night when on.
First run i trapped a 99.7x 2nd was the 98.58 3rd was 96.55
Anyways, plugs are easy, quick and cheap to change so thats prolly what I will get done this week during the service.
NGK BKR6-E <-- Those are the plugs I would want to be using i assume.
Also much'o bad luck to the guy with the Silver MKIV, he ran just before me on our last for the night and blew a heap of smoke at 3/4 track :/ Hope its not $$$$ for ya mate
