Just wondering has there been many newcastle/lake macquarie cruises and what the turn out has been like? surely there is a decent enough population of soarer enthusiasts in the area. Just interested whether they happen and if there is any let me know. It would be awfully convient if there was one on soon im on holidays in a week ;)

You'd probably get a number of cars from Sydney on a cruise like that as well. As long as it's not between mid July and mid August I'll probably be there.

Hmm Mark got me thinking. You had 190hp@wheels with a shift kit and ran 15.4... My car only had 241hp@wheels no shift kit and 13.7... I guess all the torque with the turbos does help em alot over the quarter mile.

Nah When I ran that 15.4 I only had 170hp at the wheels (was starving off fuel) When we dropped the diff the last major service wankers still left on one of the zip ties on the fuel line so I was only getting maybe 1/3 of the fuel that I should have been getting. I should get about a 15.2 now...
Other times are listed under events and drag times or something...

How soon one is forgotten. I've only had my Soarer in Newcastle and been an ALSC/Soarer Central member for 5 years. You might notice me around town now as I have just fitted a VTX kit and resprayed the car Ford Phantom Purple. No pics yet. Interested in a run depending on the date.
