On the (30th July 2006) , Im going to be doing the biggest run of my entire life, Its gonna be Huge.
I have a dream Ney Passion for this past yr to run from coolangatta to the spit (around 35klm's),
So why on earth? Well A year back I came in contact with this great N.P.O group that help's our batteling aussies out in the outback and go out and give them support in the way of food, help around the farm, counseling and whole range of other services bassically anything that needs doing they get in there and do it. The stories of families that where on the edge and families that where on deaths door due to no food or money and they way they have helped is just amazing. This is a great organisation and deserve our support.
Also more locally, I want to back up an N.P.O called Coast to Coast Community Care, These guys raise money and give it to different charities one of which being Homeless youth, also they hold many community events for free and help Single parents with house work and counseling. So far they have even helped with giving a car away to a very struggeling family
This run I believe is a cool fun way to bring some much needed support to both these N.P.O's, if you can help in anyway, would like to come down and enjoy a lunch after I have finish the run and support with finances or know how to promote or know companies that would like to support please email me or post message goldcoast_aussie@hotmail.com

Yeah, So far, from what im expecting, theres going to be about 10-20 done up cars from another car club on the coast, then work that with as my soarers from around the area, should be a fair number.

Definate, Lew is really excited. Ive been out there all day today spreading the word about it, so there should be a good turn out. ive been telling everyone about hotted up cars so im really hoping alot of people catch the vision of the day. So guys/girls Come on down. lol. Its going to be a great day, and also more so cuz theres more of a meaning han just cars.

To confirm progress, Boost cruz car club are on board, which is a cool thing, and ive told them that alsc members are on board. There keen to do a cruz after the run around 2pm, So come down around 10:30 have a sanger with us enjor the entertainment, show your car off and then come cruzing through the hinterland with us..

Guys this is for a very good cause. Josh is doing all the hard work running from the tweed to the coast. all we have to do is enjoy the drive down and then support josh and his cause by having a snag or two. and have a yack about the cars and what ever else inspires use.
from what Josh has explained to me about this cause it is some thing every body should get behind (even if the cars were not involved)
to make a long story short i wish this sort of support was around when my dad shot through when i was 11 years old and mum had to put a roof over her head and feed 7 kids.

Well, Im thinking the best Meeting spot would be at the run, Unless your talking for the Drive to the Spit.
Also On the day, Cause its turning out to be a big event, Ive had to get councel apporval and everything and so ive had to organise a spot to have all the cars until we go for the •••• arount 1:30-2.

I Start Running at 7:30am This sunday morning (30th July 2006) At NSW/QLD divide point with the light house,
Good news ive just received Councel approval this morning for All the cars to be there at the spit and sausage sizzle and live band and everything else,
Also, This might turn out to be a huge cruz at the end of the day at around 2:30-3 pm, With about 50-70 cars, Theres heaps coming from boost and a couple of other clubs,
I know i dopnt need to tell all you guys, On the day i have copuncel approval for the cars, But not bur burn outs, So please Good behaviour and there will be no Car inspections from the red and blue..
I have been given an area to have all cars, So on the day If you cant see all the other cars, Call Jason Seagrott on 0412 512 629, his the director of the day..
