Ahhh Callum, only speaking the truth, I'll vouch for Shaun's Guru'ness, I've seen him at work in the workshop on many Soarers, including mine. but... "Shaun is a whizz with his hot pointy stick..." he, he, now you've got me worried, what were you Shaun and Brad really doing around that bench???

yes he fitted blue dash and repaired my dash, have no complaints there, however, when i quizzed him about removing cassette and fitting cd player, he wasent too keen, he wanted to fit it in glove box!!!! and he wasent that cheap with quote either, aint knocking the guy, every body has to make a living, this only my opinion, maybe he was having a bad day, and i got a daft quote,

sorry, i never met the guy, like i said, might be having a bad day, he did say to me that you cant fit the cassette under the seat tho, but the quote of 200/250 bucks to fit a cd player is bit steep in anybodys terms, anyway thats my last word on this subject,

I beg to differ actually Kurt. Whilst i havent seen the inside itself, i do have one of the 'pov' dashes. The problem is the bottom display isnt backlit like the one in the picture. Instead i think there are LEDs to light up the gear selector thign...

Yeah what Callum said is correct. I had a povo dash, here's what it looks like:
It's all LEDs as you can see, so you don't need the tube. Not sure how you'd change the colour of that bottom part though, probably same way as the rest of the dash?
