My Jambo experience
My weekend started at 5am sat morning leaving for willowbank with a convoy of 3 trailers and 10 cars.
On saturday My 2 mates that raced, both suffered problems with their cars. Paul with his RX3, After wheelstanding and running an 11.2, at 3/4 track something went wrong and split the bell housing in 2 and bent the input shaft for the gear box, bent the tail shaft, snapped the diff coupling, bent the floorpan and squashed the exhaust.
Tyrone with his gemini, spat and injector o-ring out of place and had a major fuel leak at half track. After removing these, finding new o-rings and getting back on the track, his car was misfiring in 3rd and fourth gear stopping him from getting a good time.
Three of my other mates all had their cars in the show, with 2 of them picking up trophies.
Saturday night we camped and had some drinks after all suffering major sunburn and despite less than an hours sleep all had our cars clean and ready for the club display on sunday.
All in all good weekend, best car club display, 3 of the cars winning trophies in individual show, just bit of bad luck for paul
Also good to see Chris Davey out there racing. Shame you broke your dial in time of 13.4 with a 13.35
