Forget replacing some of the trim, that's asking for some custom interior work. They've already started with the pink coloured dash. |

Me car dealer mate here in New Plymouth bought a late(ish!) model V8 Mercedes that had been written off in Japan.
Some idiots had sprayed a crap load of velly sticky adhesive through the open sunroof and covered EVERYTHING. Subsequently the car was written off despite having no other damage and only 23k on the clock............said mate got it landed in NZ for $18k(NZD), spent about $8k(NZD) on refirbishing the interior, and flogged it for an easy $38995.00! Noice!
So if ewes are prepared to do a bit of fiddly s**t, there's a heap o' bucks to be made........OR a velly noice car for little money

If the engine is still in tact and the price is right, why not purchase it and fix it. Then sell it? Might be a bit of profit.
Fix up the interior = $5000 estimate?
Then go for a custom paintjob, give it some rims, there ya go. If you do everything yourself, it'll obviously be a lot cheaper. |

You guys seen the interior of an SC430? Lots of revolving panels with little computers and buttons and •••• behind them.. replace all that. |

Hmm $40k is pretty steep for the condition however depending on the year and milage it may be very well worth it!  |

it was my boss' friends car... his taking nrma to court since they didnt take his claim for the car.
he was pretty pissed off when he found out about the damage |
