What's doing... Everyone says that bad luck comes in three's and it has happened to my family concerning our cars (weird but true). * 2 weeks ago (the day my car went into the panel shop) my car was keyed on the boot... someone is really out for me and I don't know why. * Yesterday arvo my sister's car was rear ended in the city by someone not paying attention (sister's Yaris vs. a Mazda ute... guess who won) * Last night after going out for a mate's birthday I was walking back to mum's van (Tarago) to drop off the missus and noticed that quite a few cars had their windows smashed in... about 15 of them. Approached my van and it got bent over with a smashed passenger side window. Hopefully there won't be bad luck for a long time after this. /rant.

Hi Jose, I really hate being the one with the same story but, as Murphy's law would have it, there is a new number now, its not, they come in 3's. They now just don't stop. My crazy run started on Wednesday, when our house was, lets say, kindly cleaned out by some one who thought all the stuff was theirs, even the bloody dog helped them. Thursday, I went to put a surf shirt on, OK, they liked my shirts too. Went to go to a clients house, oh, what should happen, my nav man stopped working, yep, didn't make that quote. Oh, another one, Friday, thought I would go for a surf, surf was great, but I locked the bloody keys in the car didn't I. But wait, I saved the best for, well I'm not sure its the last, but for now, I got a text message from some chick saying all sorts of wonderful things today, and my wife saw it before I did, lets just say, I was prov en guilty and punished, before we found out it was sent to the wrong person, WOW, of course it did. This is after all my stuff was thrown out the back, well, at least what the thieves didn't take. That brings us up to now, I'm not moving.

Jose, where did the window smashing happen? Not East Sydney or Woolloomooloo was it?

| Iain, Not in Woolloomooloo, it occured near the Rocks on Friday night. I don't know the exact time but I know I left the place (Lowenbrau) at about 3am on the same street as Lowenbrau is situated on (whatever street the Orient Hotel is on).

Sounds very tempting (actually I nearly moved there about 2 or 3 years ago). Looks like it could be time to jump ship once I finish my course. |

Hopefully this won't come across as 'strange' but quite often these things are down to Astrology. The position of planets can very much influence either the whole planet or sometimes each person individually. Anytime that the planet Mars is near to Earth there is a lot of aggression. The Moon absolutely effects people (that's where we get the word 'lunacy') and even other planets such as Pluto effects us in this same way. Other planets effect us in a good way, the ones I've just mentioned effect us in a bad way. So before you move house, wait a while and the good stuff may come around again. Sometimes these planets stay in position for a year or two but the stuff you just described is usually a fast moving planet. I'm very much a non- expert but I was married to an Astrologer and we used to sell astrology charts so I picked up a rough idea of how it works. Ok, strange info over now...Back to talking about cars.

Damn, lucky for your window tint holding that glass together bro. I picked up my car on Friday morning, Friday night had a milk crate thrown at my car. I swerved, stopped and the rest is history.

I think I need a new job. Reckon I could make a tidy earning from all you guys operating a chain of mobile pump sheds that can keep an eye on your soarer when you are not there. I can catch them and do this Then make them do this All while you are watching doing this Or I could simply rip off their head and crap down their neck after making them eat their own testicles!?!

Jose, 2006 is proving to be your annus horribilis. Better luck next year mate. The reason I asked where it happened is I got a call from Kings X police asking about my previous car. Apparently, it was found broken into in East Sydney. As I am the last registered owner the police contacted me. Now this got me thinking. I traded that car in at a dealership. Is it not the dealership's responsibility to transfer ownership in a timely fashion? What if this car had been used in the commission of a crime? I could easily prove I had traded the car. But, I don't think I should really have to. Should I contact the RTA? Anyone with any past experiences similar to this?

^ Jeez... I reckon call up the RTA for sure and make sure that you are cleared from that car (even if just as a precaution!). Ben, the last option seems to be the most suitable

Yeah, apparently. but then virtually every year we hear that butter is not good for us, then it is, then it aint then etc etc. Same goes for steak, eggs and sex (at least that's what I am being told) so Pluto aint a planet anymore, bet it will be again in a couple of years though. Can we talk about cars again now (or wimmin! I loiks wimmin)
